What are the acceptable flaming guidelines

The difference being "nigger" was created as a term to demonize and disempower a huge segment of society and has no specific values, but a Nazi is a specific political standpoint that seeks to establish an Arian (or supreme white) race elite and deprive vast segments of specific people groups of rights and privileges. Europeans created the term "nigger." Nazis created the term Nazi.

If you see a post insulting people, report it and move on with your day, that includes people calling others names. Calling others nazis if there's no reason in their posts to call them that is very much still flaming and will be dealt with as is needed.


The trouble is that in the current climate many people seem to not so silently agree with the thoughts and ideals the nazis/Alt Right hold. If you are going to do that, then it is unlikely we'd do anything about someone calling you out on that. That holds true on all sides of the political and non-political spectrum: We're not going to shelter you from things you have been posting about (unless specifically taken out of context or specifically being brought up in unrelated threads to harrass).


TL;DR: Flaming rules work no different now than they have ever done. If you feel someone is insulting you, report it and let the moderators deal with it.
