Feature or bug?

People thought it was a bug when you couldn't trade loot (any loot regardless of it's ilvl) from Broken Shore World Bosses but that's still the case now (tested and for sure nobody who got loot was able to trade it whether or not it a piece that was lower I lvl than they had equipped in that slot), now if you join a raid group for Argus World Bosses you can't bonus roll and you cannot receive progress toward weekly quests, plus you also (afaik) cannot trade any of the loot.

Is this Blizzard's way of saying they don't want people spamming group finder with groups for these things (they cause server lag for sure) or are these just bugs that somehow have not been reported enough to get Blizzard's attention?

You haven't been able to trade loot off any world boss in Legion, possibly during WoD too.

Also, you can definitely bonus roll if you're in a raid group, not sure about the weekly quest though (depends which one you mean).

I definitely have traded or received loot from Broken Isles world bosses. Same with WOD, although I for sure recall times I wasn't able to and it seemed like a bug.

I have definitely had issues where I was not able to bonus roll an Argus world boss and I know I am not the only person because other people in the same raid group had the same issue (and no it wasn't something stupid like not having seals). This issue has ONLY happened when in a raid group. Although ya not every time, so that means it's a harder to define bug. I've had it happen on multiple toons tho, only one this week because I killed the boss in a raid group.

If you were able to trade loot from a Broken Isles world boss, then that was a bug, not the other way around. It's not intended for loot to be tradeable from the World Bosses. I'm not allowed to post links, but you can literally google "trade world boss loot legion" and get the exact same answer I gave you, except from people over 6 months ago. It can not be traded.

That's not related to you being in a raid group, it is a display error that's been known to happen sometimes (albeit more frequently with greater . If you don't get a bonus roll window when you kill a boss, /reload and the dialog should pop up.

Trading personal loot wasn't a thing whatsoever during WoD, so I don't see that being true. I recall it was the same in early legion world bosses, but I don't know about now.

If I recall, the rules of the World boss looting isn't the same as the raid boss looting.

You never could trade world boss loot in Legion, and as I always join a raid group for the world bosses (including greater invasion points) I can confirm that you can bonusroll without any problem.
What you can't do (and again this has been the whole xpac) is rolling several times on the same world boss (unlike raids, where you indeed can bonus roll several times on the same boss per lockout).
