    Help with stats for Guardian

So I keep seeing on Icy Veins that I need a bunch of Vers, but I keep hearing from others that I need a lot of Mastery. I'm currently gearing up my Druid to switch from my DK and I wanna make sure I can stat the best way possible, but I don't know much about them as this is my first time really playing one since BC.

My Druids name is Mirrayge and on Ner'zhul if you guys wanna check it out and help me out with some suggestions. I haven't logged out so I don't think my Trinket has updated but I'm using the Astral Alchemist Stone and Coagulated Nightwell Residue at ilevel 925.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

tl;dr: Armor + stamina > secondary stats, therefore equip highest ilvl.

you do not need a lot of mastery.. that is old information.. Versatility point for point is our best stat. Roi is actually correct when he says ilvl > all, i would add to that look for the jewelry that provides versatility and some other stat.
Ideally no one has ever hit the level cap of the last expansion, looked at their dungeon blues, and thought "I win."

Rings / Necks with vers/mastery are worth about +20 iLvl. Rings / Necks with high vers or high mastery and one of the other secondaries are worth about +10 iLvl.

Sockets on things at current iLvls work out to be a wash, but you could count them as about +5 iLvl if comparing even items.

Generally equipping the highest iLvl items works best, but if an item was say 925 with crit over haste, and you got a 915 with vers over mastery, i'd be tempted to put the vers/mastery one on (depending on slot).

Here is a link to a very broad summary of the pumps guide (the best guardian guide around currently): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...6ZNs8/preview#

As with almost any tank, ilvl > stats. Equip the highest items possible.
Only care for set pieces, as they are worth some more ilvl.
