I need clarification about specs

Hi,

I'm sorry if it has been already asked (also sorry if my english is bad, it ain't my native language) but does someone can explain to me the subtleties about affliction/demonology/destruction ?

When should I switch to affliction and destruction ? (i've seen a lot of warlock playing affliction and less destruction. I thought destruction was THE spec to play)

I like to understand why should I do this instead of this and I haven't found my happiness over forums and others website (such as Icy Veins, etc.)

In PvE none of the specs are 'bad' - all three are at least decent. Overall Affliction is the strongest spec at the moment - but unless you are pushing mythic raid bosses or doing high end mythic + dungeons the best advice is probably to go with what you're best at or the most comfortable with. Affliction's single target damage is probably not as good as the other specs, but it gains ground the more targets you have and is less punished by movement.
