Who we are:

T H U N D E R is a late night raiding and social guild designed to accommodate the needs of a wide range of players. The most commonly shared attributes of our members are friendliness, maturity and a willingness to help. We are mostly mature players who put life first while still maintaining an active interest in the game and in raiding. We are reaching our 10th anniversary as a guild in the coming weeks, and are looking for some new faces to join in the celebrations and join us on our continuing journey!

We have been on a short hiatus since September due to the lack of in-game content, but we are slowly coming out of hibernation in preparation for Legion. To do this, we need some new faces to mix in with the old! We attained 8/13 HC HFC before our break, and we completed all other normal and heroic content in Draenor. Between now and the release of Legion, we aim to run a reduced schedule of raiding and clear HFC HC up. Once Legion hits, we will go at it full force.

An example of our usual raid schedule is as follows (reduced to ~2 raids a week during this summer):

Monday 22:00 to 01:00
Wednesday 22:00 to 01:00
Friday 22:00 to 01:00
Saturday or Sunday 22:00 to 01:00 - Social night (Challenge modes, old raids, achievements, treasure hunts etc.)

All times are server time.

Who you are:

We are looking for three major types of people:

- Raiders who wish to see end game content but the intensity/harshness/schedule/pressure of hardcore raiding guilds do not suit them.
- Casual raiders who can raid once in a while but are not chasing end game content.
- Non-raiding players who wish for a supportive and friendly gaming environment.

Right now, our major needs are for active, experienced players, both social and raiders, who are looking for a long term home and who are looking to play in a positive environment over the next few weeks in preparation for the next tier. In terms of raiders, all positions are currently available. The main raid team will be examined come August, but until then all players will get a chance to raid and find their place in the guild. All successful applicants will get a chance to see if they will be a good fit.

Step 3: Make a new thread in that forum with your forum name as your applied character's name. Please put some effort into your application as it shows you have a genuine interest and aren't just "shopping around".

There is a lightly taken unspoken rule that applicants are preferably 18 years or more of age, although a lot of the guild are a lot older than this. The main aspect of this is maturity. Some exceptions will be made for 16 - 18 year olds who make an effort. Under 16's will not be considered.

So, we are beginning our month of recruitment for player's interested in Legion content. As a 10 year veteran guild on Kilrogg, we are a fairly stable option for your characters!

So we had our first go at Emerald Nightmare last night and we cleared straight up to 5/7 Normal in a few hours. We've also gotten 2 pulls in at Cenarius and should have him down pretty early into Friday night's raid.

We still need some ranged players and 1-2 more healers to help finish off our roster, if we sounds like a fit for you give us a shout or visit our forum and apply!
