flamethrower and elixir gun were a lot of fun for me, but got old. Holosmith is great fun. Scrapper was so-so. The little rez-bot was neat, but wonky to use. The utilities were also nice, but not as efficient. More effort for less damage a lot of time.
Turrets are autopilot for the most part, but it's also amusing once in a while to grab your wrench and beat folks with it while healing turrets. Not a long term strategy, but still amusing.

That the thing, and the thing I like most about GW2, a lot of the classes are based around making stuff that lets you have chaotic fun! That's what a video game should be at its core, regardless of its genre.
