But you don't get it! Twitter is for jokes and triggering the libs and not about official presidential doings. I can't wait for all of the mental gymnastics that will need to be done when it comes to this.

    No, really.

So that means that by now Trump should have gotten exactly #ofPolitiansInCongress + #ofPolitiansInHouse - #ofPolitiansInCongress&HouseWhoHadAlreadyFollowedHim of new twitter followers, because clearly, they are not allowed to miss another tweet anymore in case he sends another "notification".

House (also) to take up resolution to limit Trump's ability to go to war in Iran. Now, as @Skroe posted, the chance of the US actually declaring war is kind of low, what this resolution won't prevent is Trump taking actions that provoke Iran into attacking our interests. Such as drone strikes. Which he apparently likes more than Obama. Oh, you didn't forget that, did you? Trump's actually been more involved in the Middle East, both in troop count and drone strikes, than Obama was. Trump lied.

Related: Trump tweets that Iran will "never" have a nuclear weapon. If only there was some way to do so without war crimes or acts of terror. A deal, perhaps one negotiated with other countries. The EU, or maybe even Russia to show Iran we really want a peaceful solution. Man, it'd be such a tragedy if such a deal was unilaterally ended, huh? Oh, and as recently posted, that's the direct official line of communication.

NAFTA 1.0.0.2 isn't signed, Phase One isn't signed, both are minor changes at best, and the EU is set to respond to more Trump tariffs.

DOW is down for the year -- low bar I admit -- and GDP forecast at 2.3% for Q4 would make 2019 about the same.

Related, Chapter 12 bankruptcies, also known as "Old MacDonald needs a bailout, E I I.O.U." are up 24% in 2019 as farmers wait on yet another socialist bailout for the person who directly promised he'd directly help them. He lied.

And, just adding insult to injury at this point, Trump's favorite team and favorite player fucking choked on a Titanic dick over the weekend, meaning Brady might be invited to the White House because he's unemployed and needs a job.

Usual impeachment guff aside, that last tweet about Iran never having nukes, in all caps, could be taken in a very real and dangerous way.... how does he plan on achieving that exactly?

    On the impeachment stuff: LOL

And the Chief of Staff for the Defense Secretary has resigned, leaving at the end of the month. Perfect timing for that too, right in the middle of the biggest international conflict of Trump's presidency.

Pretty sure that most of the command structure would ahve resigned en masse if they didn't feel the need to mitigate the president's idiocy.

Sadly so. Worst part is how easy it always works with how media/news works today. Social media and a 24/7 news cycle ruined things.

The one thing Trump's war doesn't have: A direct attack on American soil. 9/11 kind of mobilized people to support a war because of the US being directly attacked. Years later we realized it was all folly and not worth it, but that's what anger does. It makes you do things you just shouldn't have while thinking it was a good idea at the time. But as to the original point, Trump isn't going to save his presidency with war, not unless we have a very harsh attack on American soil. While Trump's base will eat it up, the center and the left will both see it as another war instigated by the warmonger Trump.

KC: "'52' is significant for those numerologists in Iran who are listening to numbers. That's the number of hostages they took 40 years ago when — talk about a weak president — Pres. What a farce. I just can never grasp how authoratarian and how much we now have people who speak as Trump as some benevolent leader.

Can't speak much on Carter's handling of the Iran Hostage situation but calling other Presidents weak as Trump has done no wrong.

Wait, so he's going back 40 fucking years to get his justification? That's where he got his 52 figure from? Jesus Christ.

    Embassy soil is American soil.

Legally, it's not. It has special protections/rights, but it remains the territory of the home nation.

Kellyann is about to lose her job for using words that are too big.

Neither Trump nor his base know what a numerologist is, let's be real.

You know he's trying/gunning for one... hence all the threats and blustering. Though I'd like to think that even he knows that's a long-shot due to his blusterings... especially since compared to just starting shit in other countries and making it "their fault" is easier.
