I support Trump but I don't think we need to be spending billions on a wall. I'd like to hear some ideas from the Left on how President Trump can stop people from coming to America illegally without building a wall.

you want a more effective method that spends less money? go after the people who hire migrant workers, and even then you're just gonna have to deal with the fact we share a border with a poorer country that's a vital trading partner.

Yeah I was wondering why He doesn't just remove the incentives for people to come here illegally. He could fine/jail employers that hire illegals and make citizenship a requirement for government assistance. I'm not against immigration, I just want people to come here legally. I'd also like to see those billions of dollars go to helping our poor/homeless.
