Which makes it worse; not only did he take a photo of this classified information in what was presumably a meeting....nobody stopped him doing it. Either people are terrified of telling him to stop behaving like a toddler, or they tell him and he ignores them. Neither of those options is good.

It's not that Israel couldn't do that, especially when a spy satellite is on the pad. Do you think it's more likely them over "Iranians can't build a space rocket"?

They are using Russian technology and that didn’t turn out too well in Russia recently either.

Hmm. Let me guess, this is the thing currently going through the right wing infosphere. Amazing how coordinating the talking points seem to be. Both of you responded to a post where I was saying it looked like a normal pass from a US Recon Satellite to claim that Israel was somehow involved.

What points to Israel here? Absolutely nothing. The picture was clearly from a US asset, and there is no reason to believe the incident was anything except a tragic accident. However as usual, stirring up trouble where there is none seems to be the Russian/Right wing MO these days, exactly like the tweet that started this discussion.

“What do you call two farmers in a basement? A whine cellar,”
And that folks, is your Agricultural Secretary mocking struggling farms when they complain about Trump's trade policies hurting their livelyhood.

    Then there is this

    https://thehill.com/policy/energy-en...ith-waivers-to

Iowa farmers are pushing back after President Trump reneged on a promise to review a national program that gives waivers to small refineries that don’t add ethanol to their gasoline.

I'm sure a Trumpster will come around any moment to say how Trump failed by picking these people shows his overall failures.

See, in an article titled "Farmers say Trump broke promise on ethanol with waivers to refineries" I find it questionable that "AgSec mocks Ag" is the worst thing involved.

Let me put it in perspective:

The Farmers are going to be so happy when they see what we are doing for Ethanol, not even including the E-15, year around, which is already done, It will be a giant package, get ready! At the same time I was able to save the small refineries from certain closing. Great for all!
    He said this Thursday.

    From your source:

Delayne D. Johnson, CEO of Quad County Corn Processors, said he was proud he voted for Trump after the president announced earlier this summer that he would allow ethanol to be added to gasoline year-round, ending a summertime ban designed to reduce smog.

“I was equally shocked when I learned that there were 31 small refinery exemptions” issued to plants owned by major companies, Johnson said.

Trump’s call came just two months after a meeting with some of the very same farm groups. It was a decision directly from Trump to go ahead and issue the waiver on Aug. 9.

“The president has heard from all sides and in the end he has had enough of it. He called [EPA Administrator Andrew] Wheeler and gave him the green light,” a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
    From my source:

Kerry Knuth, chief executive of Knuth Farms in Mead, Nebraska, said he has at times been frustrated by the president and his administration’s actions. Knuth supported Trump in the 2016 election.

“There’s nothing we can do is the worst thing,” said Knuth, whose farm grows corn, soybeans and wheat. “Nobody even cares about us out here. It’s all about big industry.”
And yes, before anyone says anything: Yes, farmers voted for Trump because they thought he would help them. Yes, Trump is betraying that trust, to their faces, and they are admitting it. Yes, a lot of them will still vote for Trump, coming up with a reason to do so. Trump might very well come up with some kind of socialist boost for farmer votes for the 2020 season, but he ruined 2018 and 2019, possibly spoiling the Chinese market forever, and caused farm bankruptcies to skyrocket like a failed orange businessman adulterer's BMI. I keep saying Trump supporters are pretending. No matter what happens next year, they'll look for a reason to pretend they still support Trump, even if it's from the unemployment line or courthouse.

Some will find a reason. Some won't. Hoping to see a shift towards the latter.

There's only so much originality I have to spend on this anymore. Just gonna quote and move on.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to take up legislation that would expand background checks on gun purchases following a shooting Saturday in Texas in which five people were killed.

Schumer tweeted that the Senate should take up H.R. 8 in response to the shooting, which would expand background checks to gun purchases between private individuals and require a licensed firearm dealer take possession of the weapon during the process.

"Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, & everyone injured in the shooting in Odessa & Midland, TX. Thank you to the first responders who risked their lives to stop the threat. @senatemajldr should bring up H.R. 8 the week Congress returns. We must #endgunviolence," the top Senate Democrat wrote.
After a gunman in west Texas killed five people and injured more than 20 in Midland and Odessa Saturday, White House hopeful and former Texas lawmaker Beto O’Rourke (D) said that, while the facts of the shooting have not been released by officials, “we do know this is f—ed up."

“Not sure how many gunmen. Not sure how many people have been shot. Don’t know how many people have been killed. The condition of those who have survived. Don’t know what the motivation is, do not yet know the firearms that were used or how they acquired them,” O’Rourke told a crowd of supporters during a campaign speech in Fairfax Station, Virginia.

But we do know this is f-cked up. We do know that this has to stop in this country. There is no reason that we have to accept this as our fortune, as our future, as our fate,” he continued.

Oh, I am quite aware that the mocking wasn't the worst part of that post. But, the "joke" from Sec Sonny Perdue is like a bow on top of the present under the tree. It wraps up the whole situation in a simple quote. Trump doesn't give two cow patties about farmers.

It has nothing to do with Israel... just Trump rushing to declassify documents for no reason:

So once again, it's time for Guess the Speaker!

Being scolded by failed former “Intelligence” officials, like James Clapper, on my condolences to Iran on their failed Rocket launch. Sadly for the United States, guys like him, Comey, and the even dumber John Brennan, don’t have a clue. They really set our Country back, but now we are moving forward like never before. We are winning again, and we are respected again!
    "Okay that's Trump, duh."

    Correct.

"Neat. Can you also quote the cited former intelligence officers' criticisms? Let's see what they said."

    Um...no.

t wasn't immediately clear what criticism the president was referring to, as the officials had not issued public statements on Trump's tweet or his decision to release an image taken by U.S. forces of a damaged Iranian rocket facility.
"Huh. Don't know why I'm shocked."

Incidentally, I don't know what "respected again" means. I'm going to assume it's a blatant lie, because G7 was not Trump being respected.

Source after source after source after source after this source in particular after source after source after source after source after source after source after source after source after source after source after source after this global poll show Trump receiving the same disrespect to G7 (all three of them) and the world, and what's more, none of them mention his hotel or the time he was laughed out of the UN.

Trump is just throwing out fridge poetry in this one. I don't know how these intelligence officers set the US back, and Trump of course didn't say, but I expect it wasn't "give Afghanistan back to the Taliban" because he's doing that by himself.

I'm trying to figure out what he means by "respected again" and "winning" in regards to this image. Like does he mean in our photography skills? Spying? Satellites? Trump's ability to take a not blurry image with his phone?

It's delusions on his part. Like when he went on a visit to the African American history museum in 2017; staffers requested that the museum not show him 'difficult' exhibits on his trip and, when he saw an exhibit about the role the Dutch played in the slave trade, bragged about how popular he was in the Netherlands.

fun part, it continues to show this fish is rotting from the head, Trump was already on record saying an farms that fail were failing anyways
so of course the people he hired would have the same shitty views

How farmers thought Trump, a rich man that I'm sure hasn't done an honest day's work in his life, would help them and their plights I'll never understand.

It's not all that surprising considering people still repeat the narrative the Hillary and the Democrats don't care about the average American worker. These are, of course, the same people who will argue until they're blue in the face that things like increasing the minimum wage, making it so that you don't have to go bankrupt paying medical bills, and providing cheaper/free education are examples of the evils of SOCIALISM...

He told them what they wanted to hear and they were desperate to believe it despite the fact that Trump is a well documented liar and fraud.
