Bonus points: She threatened to investigate the reporter for this. She seems like an utter joy.
The best part of this, as I'm listening to it, is how quietly brutal the reporter's being. You can hear her typing out notes during the call, the "I don't know that I have to explain that to you" comment, the "you can contact my editor" hand-off attempts, by halfway through, you can hear her tone of voice change because Conway's gotten vicious for no reason, and she has her on the record doing so. She's "won", in journalism terms. Conway dropped it right in her lap and didn't even realize it.

For extra amusement, realize that the reporter on the tape is the same reporter writing the story, about herself, in the third person. Which makes her story hilarious, IMO.

I wanna hear the phone call when Conway finds out she did this. Woman's gonna lost what's left of her goddamned mind.

A great example of this is when he did the joe rogan podcast with twitter corp peeps, all he could do is vomit off topic rants and ignore what they are saying

Just watched a segment on Morning Joe with Steve Rattner and financier/chart guy. Basically they were debunking Trump's boast about the average wage/earnings Trump boasted. Now this may be shocking he was lying.

The meaty part was he broke it down by income earned by states and in key battle states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan it is performing below national average. Even more interesting is the 60 Trump counties he one are less.

So again, Trump conned these people, the working people, the people who are barely getting buy. Guess who it benefited the most? The top 20%, especially the rich. So as someone will state the rich got theirs and if your throw them into averages, it helps but the middle class didn't see the returns.

Oh you Trumpkins, conned again. I know it's hard to admit being conned, but you were.

Yeah, I was watching the same thing, and when they passed the tax cut, it was supposed to give the average family $4000, then they claimed it was going to be $5000, and it didn't even get to half of what they claimed. The average that people got was $1400, and in the 3 battleground states that you mentioned that Trump barely won, barely made $700 in Pennsylvania and Michigan, and the average in Wisconsin was what? Less than $50? Averaged per person. It is pretty bad.

Yes I should have noted I was watching in the background so I misses some info on my post and I sorta gave a broad view of what Rattner said. But you are correct on all you stated.

Yep, people tout the Trump tax cut as some magical end all be all important thing that Trump did, and it has been nothing but a disaster and has added billions to the deficit, and will add trillions to the debt overall.

For the people that don't know who these dipshits are, the chick is Brittany Pettibone AKA Nazi Barbie, the dumbass right behind her is James Allsup member of Identity Evropa and one of the organizers of the Charlottesville hate rally, guy in the back middle is Vincent James of the Red Elephants another Nazi group, dumbass on the right with the frosted blonde hair is Baked Alaska another Nazi douchenozzle. The rest are random Red Elephants members and other white supremacists. Then you have Tim Pool trying to hide in the corner with his trademarked beanie.

So Shon237 and Orbitus, how much do the Trump trade war tariffs cost the average American?

And also, how do y'all feel about leading questions?

I think their #1 goal of finding out who the whistleblower is, is so they can fire him/force him out. It's got to be KILLING trump to know there's a rat somewhere on his team.

I said there's a 1-in-6 chance the whistleblower has already testified. That chance is based on literally nothing.

But, let's look at the people who have testified. How many are
    a) already out, or
    b) probably on their way out, because they dared to tell the truth?

The analogy that fits best is, of course, "You can't fire me, I quit". Meanwhile Trump will have to defend using his political power to crush the person who followed appropriate oversight to report that Trump was using his political power to crush someone. I believe this is called "doubling down on corruption".

Man, I've loved this picture ever since I've first saw it. It's a vertible who's-who of neo-nazi losers on the internet.

It really incredible the lengths people go to in order to hate black people and latinos. Like don't they have anything better to do?

    Pathetic *spit*.

Also, I'm giving a 1-in-6 chance it goes like this:

Trump: "I demand to know who the whistleblower is!"
Someone Who Has Already Testified: "Ok, I admit it: it was me. And now, you have my testimony on record."
Apologies to the dude on twitter who said this, but it’s basically this:

A guy calls 911 because the bank down the street is being robbed.
The robbers are interviewed and admitted to trying to rob the bank, and helpfully provide a video of such.
A friend of the robber says “we rob banks all the time, it’s how things are done. Deal with it”
Multiple witnesses testify that the robbers tried rob the bank.

The guy who call 911 (the whistleblower) is not relevant now. He gets a figurative Good Samaritan award or whatever, but he’s out of the story and can go on with his life. He can stay anonymous if he wants, but the bank robbers have no right or reason to talk to him.

This is also why anonymous tips work.

A federal judge throws out a challenge by California to Trump's new emissions standards rule --

    "Yeah! MAGA!"

-- because the rule isn't finalized yet.

    "*cough* What?"

Yeah, California and others have challenged the EPA, but apparently, the EPA isn't able to enforce anything. The judge said he can't affect the EPA decision-making process, so because they can't enforce it, California can't challenge it.

In other words, "it doesn't exist".

I guess California can just keep on demanding low-emissions cars until the EPA gets their act together. No rush, guys.

Congratulations to Trump for taking such firm stances about regulation.

Wal-Mart, CVS and Rite Aid pull J&J baby powder because it literally contained asbestos.

Oh, and before we get into that further, "there was only a small amount of asbestos" is like saying "there was only one Russian spy funneling money to the NRA".

Once again, it's time for Guess the Speaker!

Here’s the thing. I don’t have teams. Everyone’s talking about teams. I’m the team
    "That sounds like Trump."

    Yes.

"Which anonymous source claims Trump said something so obviously stupid?"

Actually, Trump said it in public.

The comment came as part of a lengthy rant against the impeachment inquiry, which Trump derided as a "phony deal" focused on a "perfect" call he had with the Ukrainian president. He went on to say that if anything came of this inquiry, he thinks it could plunge the country into economic downturn.

"I will say this: If anything ever happened with this phony witch hunt that the Democrats are doing ... I really believe you’d have a recession, depression the likes of which this country hasn’t seen," Trump said, questioning how Democrats could impeach "one of the most successful presidents."
This is not the first time Trump has suggested his impeachment would cause a problem. But this might be the first time he suggested a recession.

"Which is what you would say, if --"

No no, that's just stupid. All signs point to a recession anyhow, yes, so I'd be tempted to blame something, but all signs remain that McConnell will block Trump from being impeached successfully. Then, when a recession comes anyhow, he has no useful excuse. The only way this works is if Trump wants to preserve his legacy, after being thrown out of office.

"Isn't this supposed to scare people to defending him, like when he suggested people should vote for him or the DOW would crash?"

GOP lawmakers are not as intentionally ill-informed as the rabid fanbase. They know full well Trump's policies are pushing the economy down. Remember, they didn't vote for any of the trade war, which ate the tax cut for the rich on most Americans and then some extra. It's one thing to convince Cousin Billy Bo Bob Jr. in Swampwater, MI that his stock portfolio would crash if the US elects a commie librul (which is a waste of time, he has no stock portfolio). It's completely different to convince rich old white men who want to stay in a position of power, when Trumps words and actions threaten that money and power they value.
