Ahh the kitty cat Democrats and Chris Coons is definitely one of them. You really think they were booing the office? They were booing say the United States as a whole? Chris Coons is about as stupid as Trump when he believes if you don't agree with corruption you hate America. Spineless Democrats.

Booing the man that disrespects the office of president is showing the office of the POTUS respect. Coons can eat a bag of dicks.

If trump had done a single, granular thing worthy of respect in his life, I might agree with the senator.

But he might as well be telling people to take it easy on satan because “any management position is tough.”

However I highly doubt that most democrats share his sentiment on the matter. Frankly, this is the kind of thing that needs to be happening more. Spontaneous protests; not ones that Fox News can pretend never happened or prepare some spiel about.

Yeah, that's a bunch of bullshit. Trump does not deserve any respect, and I will give him none.

I'll start respecting the Office of the Presidency the second after Trump starts respecting the Office of the Presidency. So far, I don't see that happening.

He doesn't just believe he's the perfect vision of health. He believes he's an action hero. Thing is, there's only one character I can think of who:

Say what you want about Yamcha, at least he knows he's worthless. Yajirobe is a lazy overeater who has only one claim to fame, and that's stabbing someone in the back while everyone else was doing the real fighting. And then, running like hell while everyone else kept fighting.

Plus he lives in a literal ivory tower.

    To Recap:
Last night a stadium full of fans booed and jeered the DOPUS. There were no fights, no weapons, no running people over with cars, no throwing of milkshakes.

    Just people shouting.

This morning, the famous and powerful are decrying the incivility of it all... Clutching all their pearls and Ellens.

Don't besmirch the moderately decent name of Yajirobe!

Considering your posting history, it's very easy to think you were not even joking when you posted that, but the whole "lol j/k" seems to be the only defense you lot have left.

Think he is referring to the border between the Irelands. Which is going to be interesting to see how that mess is going to be solved.

    Erect a wall between them?

NRA would like to know your location.

But yeah, Trump is a total tool, as always, as this makes no sense, either way.

You see this shit? This is EXACTLY what I am talking about.

    Exactly.

    It already happened.

My bold (not really) prediction about the Trump era is that this country is going to effectively learn nothing and find a way to rationalize the abuses of power, the criminal wrong doing, the demagoguery, and so forth. They are going to call him a one off. A 200-year storm. And they'll avoid taking the decisive steps to break the power of the Presidency and reduce it to something more in line with its historic target, which is on the relatively level of your average State Governor.

And they will do it because they salivate over the notion of, when its their turn in power, they can make use of executive action to sidestep the painful legislative process.

Chris Coons... another Baby Boomer (albeit a late one)... is like many people of his generation, completely unable to believe the disaster that we find ourselves in. It is an extraordinary, unprecedented moment in American history. Donald Trump has committed an unprecedented crime... the largest scandal in American history. Bigger than Watergate. Bigger than Teapot Dome.

And here is Chris Coons talking about 'respect for the office'.

To him I say: it's a fucking elected office in a democracy you knuckledragging jackass, not a king. Not the Pope.

Presidents SHOULD be rather disposable. We elect a backup. They have term limits. But when it comes down to it, there is an entire generation of people who bought into this delusion of "the great man"... "the great leader"... as a President. I'll say again: isn't it strange so many Americans can name the Presidents in order starting with FDR? But they can't do the series from after Lincoln until FDR? That's because of this sick place the Presidency - a de facto emperor - has come to exist in Americans mindset... a people who ESPOUSE small-r republicanism but THINK in terms of regalism.

It's just ridiculously depressing to me to be honest. I've dedicated so much time IRL, unpaid, to burning down the Trump Administration at the PAC. I've put my own political beliefs in the attack for years, because I honestly believe in the threat Donald Trump presents to American democracy supercedes politics.

But I just cannot shake the feeling Democrats and I are not truly playing for the same end goal. Am I doing all this to open the door to Elizabeth Warren to, in fact, not root out the epic levels of corruption, going back decades, that enabled Trump... and rather avail herself as President of same Executive action practices, but this time in the name of Healthcare, or guns, or something near and dear to Democrats? Am I doing this just so when Democrats have unified control of government again, instead of administering comprehensive reforms that PREVENT this kind of corruption and abuses of power, they'll just start going down the political wish list instead?

I sincerely hope not. My general opinion of contemporary Americans are that they are unfit inheritors of what they have been gifted by the Greatest Generation and the Founders. When it comes to defending, expanding and espousing the principles of the timeless American revolution, they only ever pay lip service to it... but really, plenty of them would be happy with a king so long as their side wins. When it comes to acting as caretakers for the wealth, power and strength the Greatest Generation gifted us... they act like looters or live like its a going-out-of-business sale.

    I'll repeat myself.

    Donald Trump is symptomatic.
    Donald Trump is symptomatic.
    Donald Trump is symptomatic.

We are here, with President Donald Trump and all his illegitimacy, because of things WE did to ourselves that weakened our immune system and opened the way to an opportunistic infection.

And people like Chris Coons are just... completely unable to rise to the moment to deal with it. The question is... is this representative of Americans as a whole? We shall see. Because I'm telling you right now, if I find I wasted my time, I'll just take my pile of money, move to Singapore with half the people I went to college and grad school with, and watch as the suckers trapped in the ruins of the fallen American Empire murder each other in a pointless fight between Medicare For All and even more tax cuts.

Hey Coons, they weren't booing the office. The office didn't come down to watch part of a World Series game. Nobody was chanting "lock up the Oval Office!"

Yes, the office deserves respect, we shouldn't have sullied it by putting Trump in there.

If Trump doesn't respect the office of the President, why should we?

Given your sycophantic levels of partisanship and unhealthy infatuation with Trump I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if your brain had convinced you that they did in fact say huge.

I mean honestly it's more believable than that you were joking. Also jokes are usually funny. That may have caused some confusion.

Even if. Every office in a democracy must be open to ridicule. There is no protection just because they are. No office is sacrosanct. It's a democracy, not the papal states.

I wonder if people with 'impeach' badge are going to remove those for a while shortly before 2020's elections or are they keeping them until late 2024
