The answer is pretty much always "yes". Given everything they have already explicitly or tacitly signed off on, this is really just a very minor comment.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA...oh, you're serious?

Comparing losing money to the lives of US veterans serving their country is something a sociopath would say, but considering Trump sent people to both Saudi Arabia and (back to) Syria to protect oil, and nothing else, that apple fell straight down from that tree.

    - - - Updated - - -

    So remember when --

China has said that Trump is ready to roll back tariffs as part of "Phase One" which is what I would call "I need to at least pretend I'm making progress, so I'll call any meeting at all Phase One so it looks like I have a plan".

But that was yesterday. Since then, multiple WH officials and now Trump himself have openly refuted that, saying Trump will not, in fact, roll back tariffs.

They’d like to have a rollback. I haven’t agreed to anything.

China would like to get somewhat of a rollback. Not a complete rollback, because they know I won’t do it.

China would like to make a deal much more than I would
It seems unlikely to me that China will sign anything that does not include removing tariffs. It seems less likely to me that they will pay Trump up front, by giving concessions in exchange for nothing in return.

I also think Trump's last line quoted above is adorable. Trying to claim China wants a deal more than Trump does, when Trump is up for re-election and China doesn't have elections (that matter), is comedy gold.

What a douchebag. Daddy Trump if you recall pretty much stated the same about his sacrifices being the same as soldiers sacrificed.

But Junior takes it a step further saying about comparing what he perceives as unfair attacks as same soldiers in war.

So Trumpkins you are okay with this? I love also this idiot believing he is being deep and introspective making a comparison of soldiers in a cemetery.
Could you imagine if Hillary Clinton said something like this? Republicans would want her hanging from gallows in front of Arlington. Yet one of Trump's vile spawn compares them being rightfully investigated and lambasted to the deaths of servicemen fighting for this country. They would probably cheer him on and tell him he is right.

All those judges they want? That's why. They'd toss his bloated orange fat ass out and say "Pence would never do that".
I think that's a bit too optimistic. People can go to extreme lengths to reconcile their cognitive dissonance. I remember reading some bullshit post on facebook not too long after trump got elected. It basically compared him to a firefighter that cursed when trying to save somebody in a fire, and how god can send an imperfect individual to do his work. It's extreme cringey shit.

The new book A Warning by Anonymous has excerpts being run in several news publications.

    From the book:

...administration officials would often strategize before and after meetings with Trump, who is likened to a “twelve-year-old in an air traffic control tower, pushing the buttons of government indiscriminately, indifferent to the planes skidding across the runway and the flights frantically diverting away from the airport.”
Early on, briefers were told not to send lengthy documents. Trump wouldn’t read them,” the author writes. “Nor should they bring summaries to the Oval Office. If they must bring paper, then PowerPoint was preferred because he is a visual learner. Okay, that’s fine, many thought to themselves, leaders like to absorb information in different ways.

“Then officials were told that PowerPoint decks needed to be slimmed down,” the author continues. “He needed more images to keep his interest — and fewer words. Then they were told to cut back the overall message (on complicated issues such as military readiness or the federal budget) to just three main points. Eh, that was still too much.

“Soon West Wing aides were exchanging ‘best practices’ for success in the Oval Office,” the author adds. “The most salient advice? Forget the three points. Come in with one main point and repeat it — over and over again, even if the president inevitably goes off on tangents — until he gets it. Just keep steering the subject back to it. ONE point.
Trump is going to stroke out if anyone reads it to him.

I heard he asked the WH chef to start working on his fried chicken and watermelon recipes, so he can treat the winners to a nice lunch after the award ceremony.

It’s just almost as bad having him eating a taco bowl from Trump Tower and saying he loves Hispanics and then eating KFC on his Trump jet and says he loves African Americans.

    What makes it even worse?

His ex wife is under the taco bowl

Clearly a lie. He'd order from KFC or Popeye's instead.

And Trump ordered to pay $2M for their "charities" "persistent" violations. And it's not just Trump, it's Trump, Donnie Jr., Eric, and Ivanka who were in violation state and federal campaign finance laws.
This seems to be his wording of it:

    is that even legal?

It's not illegal to lie, no.

And I mean, it's between his word and the court brief that pretty much explicitly lays out he's paying a fine.

Trump's argument seems to be "I did a good thing once, therefore ignore my crimes". And of course he had to throw in a "but Clinton". Seriously, who on their right mind can possibly support him?

Exactly. Trump lives in his own made up world at this point. Charities don't get fined for giving away all of their money to legitimate organizations. This isn't even the first time the Trump Fuckdation was fined. Plus, let's not forget, it was shut down for illegal activities.

Trump's vile behavior is a feature, not a bug. He is and always has been intended to be a message from "Middle America" to Other Demographics; 'the worst of us will always be better than the best of you'.

Why do you think pissing off the libs is such a frequently touted positive of the Trump administration, according to right wingers?

It's always going to come down to Clinton for him and his rabid fanbase. The fact that he lost the popular election to her will always haunt him.

I believe we had some voter suppression thread, but oh well.

.Could Texas be any more intentional?

Houston voters elect 19 Black women to judgeships.

GOP then introduces bill to replace judicial elections w/governor-appointed judges.

Kicker: Bill would end elections only in counties w/500,000+ people, targeting urban areas like Houston.

Need to change the rules when democracy gets in the way. I love the little clause of 500k plus. I mean why not just say majority white counties.
