Hilarious times.

That whole thing was never about anything else but "one-upping" Obama, a president the rest of the world actually largely held respect for. Obama got one, and thus Trump should too, according to them.

It's as much of a joke now as it was back then. There's no shortage of more deserving candidates than a man at who's direction the US is separating immigrant children from their parents, and keeping them in large camps under poor conditions.

Stone's out on bail. Bail typically continues until sentencing, I think. Plus I don't think you get taken to jail if your appeal is heard.

Also, Monkey D Luniz is also right: Stone is rich. The system isn't even close to fair. Stone probably had steak that night while children taken from their families die in dog cages.

Im not as certain on the pardon since Trump cares more about what he gets, and after his pardon for Joe Arpaio got him a "meh" from the GOP outside of Arizona, and then the warning that pardons mean you admit guilt, and it might well remove 5th amendment protections on the subject. He stopped giving them out to friends, and has stuck to the "this will make you like me now right?" pardons of random people that celebrities and Fox toss infront of him

I make a point of not putting the word President in front of Trump. It seems he never was legitimately so, and all he's done is degrade the office since his first day. I don't see a way of "nullifying" his existence as 45, but at the same time he will always have an asterisk next to him name in my book. Deplorable to the end.

Oh that's guaranteed. He can't admit when he is wrong and he knows he leaves office into legal hell spending the rest of his life fighting or in prison while his kids fight the same. He will flip the table every way he can on the way out.

Part of me still thinks that before he leaves office, he will send most of his assets overseas and then leave and just not come back before his term is officially up as a way of screwing the nation and flipping them the bird on the way out.

The 20 is just for witness tampering. In total he faces 50.

50 would require consecutive sentencing. He's a nonviolent first timer. Chances of that happening are low. I'm guessing 6-7 is a lot closer to what he'll end up with than 50.
