But what would give you the idea that the businessman who is undermining the basic response will do better with the next crisis?
And what would this leader actually do that make this recover happen? Judging by his short term thinking he would force the economy open again, ignoring the long term consequences (long term is 4-6 months). Give more tax breaks to the largest companies which frankly doesn't mean much if you don't have any revenue and don't pay that much to begin with.

The next leader of the USA needs to confront the weaknesses that the current administration only exacerbated and that Obama wanted to tackle but only managed to do some changes through executive orders. So all the stuff that Sanders and Warren have been pointing out really.

Business owners are pushing back the timetable of when they expect to recover.

Axios posted a poll -- two of them, actually -- about "If COVID-19 were to end today, how long would it take for your company to get back to business as usual?"

March 11, the majority of answers were "under a month".

There is no longer a majority, but, the plurality said "1 to 3 months" while lumped together "1 to 6 months" is the majority.

Trump is trying to push people back to work before even the work itself is ready for them.

Wasn't the guy just laying blame on the governors for not doing enough and it all being on them? Good journalism is asking difficult questions, pushing through the bullshot and get to the truth.

You can argue that MSNBC is very partisan and only show the president on a bad angle, but then, Fox News does the polar opposite.
Fact of the matter, with this president, you don't need Fox News or MSNBC, you can read his tweet, hear his rally, see him answering questions.
