Trump is hoarding medical supplies for .. Putin?
Trump , the same guy withholding ventilators from govenors.
"I think Russia is going to need ventilators. They're having a hard time in Moscow. We're going to help them."

Explains all those recent phone calls with Putin.

America First! Except when Putin asks, then America First but Russia Firster.

Why is Trump placing more value on Russian lives than the lives of Americans?

Wow, how badly did Trump want that oil cut that he's sacrificing American lives for Putin?

@Mihalik - this is why your vote for Biden is so important.

We cannot afford to play by the - literally - traitorous rules of the GOP [and Crime Family Boss] Leader Trump. We cannot afford to allow that weasel to remain in office any more. It can't be any more clear.

A 'War' For Medical Supplies: States Say FEMA Wins By Poaching Orders

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, a Republican, says his state placed an order for millions of N-95 respirator masks — but never got them. "We had our 3 million masks that we had ordered ... confiscated in the port in New York," Baker said at a press conference this month.

After federal officials took those masks, Baker says Massachusetts scrambled to arrange a new shipment from China. But this time, state officials used a private plane that belongs to the New England Patriots.

And people wonder why back in mid-march Newsom was flying in CA supplies in privately chartered airplanes and 747s on loan from Virgin Air. Because he is smart.

Yep. Just a reminder, Trump said that states could bid on these supplies, then just seize them for Kushner's personal stash. I mean, it's not like people watched Trump's business activities and said "that's a person we can expect to hold to his word and act fairly", right?

Man, it seems like this is the "biggest" that government has ever been. And it's under a Republican president, with a Republican controlled Senate giving them the power edge over the Democrat controlled House.

So Republicans are responsible for the largest "big government" actions in recent history. How poetic and fitting.

There's no way to even project the impacts of that level of money creation over that long of a period of time, we'd literally be into "no one knows" territory. I'm not being sardonic at all when I say that the bright side is that it's not intended to be taken seriously.
Well if you wanted this payment to specifically stimulate the economy you would be way better off giving it to people whom would spend it immediately, which are the people earning the least amount of money.

As far as it being easy, ya I still don't have my 1200 bucks and no estimate on when....and at work a half dozen people whom have worked there for years had me check and none of them have any status on when they will be getting it either. Oh and my ex got an extra 500 for the almost 18 year old, my dead cousin got the money before I did and my father got 1700 dollars and has not had a kid living with him for oh about 40 years....lol.

trusting the IRS on things that are not that "difficult" at least in my tiny little sample, ya not getting 5 stars.

I wonder if they are just going to ignore all these mistakes or go after people in 2021?

    I wouldnt bother.
    • That people would go from Bernie to Trump is hardly surprising.
    • That people would go from Bernie to full QAnon, well isnt even that surprising.

I dont think you can reason with a person that latched onto *every* conspiracy about Biden. It doesnt sound like a mentally healthy person. Mayabe why they see so much of Tara in themselves. /shrug

Less than 30 is a really low number, ah yes forgot the orthodox church has different times and traditions. So long the Church themselves state that the celebration is to be held in private i don't expect people to go out.

But traditions are hard to break.

Does that mean either 2019 or 2020's income below the limit can get that money?

The government is dropping money from the helicopter.

The government literally fighting itself over this stuff. Bidding wars, state vs. state vs. federal government. I just never thought we'd fall this far. For all I was brought up to be numb to governmental incompetence and corruption, just saying "well this is how it's always been, get used to it", nothing prepared me for this administration and this debacle.

An foreboding analogy is when those Bain Capital guys took over Sears and Toy S Us. They also made departments fight for cash and resources. It's some kind of recurring Ayn Rand fantasy. Cull the weak or whatever.
They also loaded up those companies with debt and gave themselves big payouts.

Wait... I forgot if i was talking about Sears or the Trump admin at this point

its all based on 2020 income.

since you have not filed yet in 2020 they will use 2019 or 2018 data depending on what they have available and based on what the person filed.

then when you file 2020 it will be adjusted if necessary

if you made 12,000 in 2019 but 200,000 in 2020 you will get the check and will have to repay it when you file your 2020 taxes.

if you made 200,000 in 2018 or 2019 and 12,000 in 2020 you wont get the check and instead get a 1200 dollar credit on your 2020 taxes when you file.

$1200 for two months is not enough.

If $5000 a month forever, I will quit my job.
    Don't want miss that.

That's not what this article states:

You won't have to pay back your stimulus check, even if you get too much

Even though the credit is technically offsetting your 2020 tax liability, the payments for most people are calculated based on the adjusted gross income reported on their 2019 tax return, or 2018 if they haven't filed yet, because that's the most readily available income data.

What all this means is that you could get more than what you qualify for based on your 2020 income and the government isn't going to come after you to settle the score. For example, if your 2020 AGI is too high — $99,000 for individuals and $198,000 for married couples who file jointly — but your 2018 or 2019 income is within the limits, you'll receive a payment.

If the opposite happens to be true — your 2019 or 2018 income disqualified you from getting a payment but your 2020 income is within the limits — you should be able to get your full check when you file your 2020 tax return next year.

It's supposed to be on top of your income, or unemployment, and you should be getting one or the other.

Are you saying that $600 a month extra isn't enough to cover your extra expenses? I'm not picking a side here, I just need clarity.

"We've got to open this economy," the Louisiana Republican told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. "If we don't, it's going to collapse. And if the U.S. economy collapses, the world economy collapses."

"When we end the shutdown, the virus is going to spread faster," Kennedy acknowledged. "That's just a fact. And the American people understand that."
Sorry, Americans. But many of you (us) will have to die so that Republicans can have a good economy for the next election. It's a sacrifice they're welling to allow us to make.

I think it is $600 per week extra.
