Would telling posters to listen to the president, then linking him talking about injecting cleaner, be counted as a death threat or violate forum rules? I’d like to link it to people claiming to trust Trump, but don’t want the infraction...

The fact that MORE people haven't died taking his stupid advice is all the proof I need that most Trump "supporters" don't believe a word he says--they just like the fact that he's echoing their bigoted views and making liberals mad.

That’s why I wondering if linking the president saying it, would be a way around it. It’s not like he is trying to kill people... right?

That’s what I mean... it’s a murky line right now... would linking Trump pretty much telling people to kill them selfs, in the context of Trump succeeding would really trigger TDS, be counted as a threat? It’s a confusing time... when you say it, you are telling someone to kill them selfs... when Trump does it, it’s a cure... strange times indeed...

Edit: It honestly might be a good idea for The_Donnald to have a disclaimer to not inject cleaning supplies. It sounds like I am making a joke, but we are living in a post tide pod challenge world.

As dumb as it is, at least it wasn't that dumb. Earlier in the briefing there was a discussion of a study of how long the virus lives under certain conditions outside the body (a legitimate, useful study). So it wasn't some random idea Trump threw out there, it was based off that study, but it's still a mindbogglingly stupid thought that now those researchers are going to have to push back against actually having to test.

Should work on Trump and GOP Senators, then.

Maybe but the research that was done regarding Hannity vs Tucker deaths is pretty telling isn't it. Plus it does show you the dangers of bullshit speech.
Frankly I'm at a loss. Given the age group of the average Trump voter I'm almost wondering if they want people to die. Yesterday there was a political article where researches looked into the deaths and found that it could actually hurt trump's chances which is kind of expected.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/0...grounds-204708
Trump supporters, especially in Greater Appalachia, tend to be older and heavier, traits correlated with underlying conditions that make Covid-19 more lethal, he said. Smoking levels — another leading indicator of vulnerability — also tend to be higher in red areas.

The analysis comes as Trump’s handling of the coronavirus increasingly is turning away seniors who buoyed him in 2016, when the cohort supported him over Hillary Clinton by 7 percentage points. Older voters consistently vote at higher rates and have broken in the GOP’s favor for the better part of two decades.

I heard that gamma radiation on the petajoule range can kill the virus.

If we had a way to introduce it in the body through the skin or other way it could be a treatment with the added value that maybe we could even get a Hulk or two.

Every time you think Trump can't say anything more stupid...you get corrected. Hard. I wonder if , when the briefing ends, he just laugh his ass off about the nonsense he said: " Hey guys...I just told them we could use UVC to treat the disease!!! Muahahahahah"....and they all laugh about the trolling.

Weird he's trying to kill off his voting base in an election year. Next up "the virus dies in fire".

I'm sure some of the people who "need" their buttholes waxes or Applebees for dine in count as tools.
