Going to post the update now even though the final numbers aren't in yet because honestly I need to get some sleep and it's doubtful the totals will change much from where they are now.

As expected, we passed 100k deaths due to COVID-19 today. 100,579 deaths, 774 on the 27th (GMT). Do remember that there was a 3-day weekend in the US, which would naturally result in a 3-day "lull" instead of the normal 2. Looking at the numbers, most states' totals are definitely being underreported today as they would normally be Sundays and Mondays. I expect the total will be back over 1k tomorrow. Sorry for any bubbles burst.

That said, California is posting their highest ever peak in new cases with 2,908, so that's pretty noteworthy amidst a sea of otherwise unusable data.

Instead of saying, well, anything about the 100k dead, Trump instead chose to whine on Twitter about how Twitter is censoring his conspiracy theories. The sooner this TRUMP SHITSHOW is over the better off everyone will be.

The only issue is the H1N1 virus killed a little over 12k in a year while Covid 19 has killed almost a 100k in just about 3 months. No but it keeps them in the conversation, Trump does domestic and foreign policy on twitter. The Trumps are basically huge marketing for twitter worldwide. From a business perspective there is no positive from taking them off the platform or pissing them off considering their following.
