Yes, Trump just encouraged them and told them the virus was nothing. That’s presidential leadership... while you blame America... Why shouldn’t they attack these nurses and protest prevention, when the president tells them its all bullshit to hurt him? They literally protested the social distancing... Which is not the same as ignoring...

Edit: Trump just did the opposite of what a leader should do...

Trump has actively been pushing the narrative that the virus and any action to reduce the spread of it is an attempt to make him look bad. To a cult, anything that goes against their leader is an attack on their way of life. If the little shit stain had done what any sane leader would do and stop making it all about him his cult wouldn't act pants on head retarded. Their actions may be their own but they are being lead by a self serving narcissist who cares little about their lives. That's a death cult.

There is no America, thats just an idea in our heads.
There are real people and some people do bad things to other people.
I cannot fathom how anyone can look at around 100.000 additional dead human beings due to federal mismanagement and claim America had different priorities.

How can you not protest for Trump to leave office immediately?

And yet, many folks who do not worship Trump failed to follow the same guidelines this "death cult" did not follow, thus resulting in them risking others to covid exposure. Make since to blame all who failed not just a select group.

Blame for what? The numbers are spiking in states where these open up protests were going on. In states that listened to Trump’s guidelines, instead of medical. You keep trying to blame some phantoms you cannot even name. The difference between states like NY and WA, versus states like Florida, Texas and Arizona, is explicitly due to listening to Trump, instead of medical professionals. You can’t even name what you are trying to blame...

120000 dead under his watch... with his current trajectory on the virus, Trump will isolate US, by making countries impose travel bans against America.

Let’s put it this way... Trump is handling the virus so well, I don’t think America has to worry about globalization for at least a while.

    Edit: Ooh... I got more...

With the way the virus is going in US, Mexico might be willing to pay for the wall.

Who are these "many folks" you keep misdirecting to? Why are you going out of your way to shift blame to others when this group is purposefully failing to wear masks. Many of who believe this virus is overblown.

"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.

Because the majority of the government supports him and says he is above the law. There are people protesting but it won't do any good.

It might as well be. Because they control everything. It doesn't matter what the House passes, the Senate will just immediately say no if it's something Trump doesn't want. Multiple politicians have said, openly, in public, that money and corporate profits are more important than lives.

Very dark language coming out of Trump. I guess this is what a desperate Trump looks like and we have to brace for more of this. The hole the GOP is in just got a lot deeper.

From what I saw of his Nuremberg Rally, his words, and the location chosen, makes it seem like the white man needs to rise up and take down the others before their great slaver leaders are destroyed.

because taking down statues holding up slavers is worse than stealing land from Native Americans in a treaty and carving giant racist men into a natural wonder

And it seems like the worst is ahead of us.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/2-...aeJ?li=BBnb7Kz

Title: 2 Texas counties urge residents to shelter in place as hospitals reach capacity

    Excerpts:

Hospitals in at least two Texas counties are at full capacity heading into the Fourth of July holiday weekend, with county judges urging residents to shelter in place.
Judge Eloy Vera said there have been 18 deaths in Starr County due to Covid-19 and two severely ill patients had to be flown out of the area for treatment. One of the patients was taken to San Antonio and the other to Dallas, the judge said in the post on Facebook.
So basically judges in Texas are going on Facebook to basically contradict the governor about the seriousness of the virus in Texas.

"The local and valley hospitals are at full capacity and have no more beds available. I urge all of our residents to please shelter-in-place, wear face coverings, practice social distancing and AVOID GATHERINGS," he wrote.

Vera issued a public safety alert announcing a "Level 1 Severe" threat due to the virus spreading rapidly across the county.

In neighboring Hidalgo County, Judge Richard Cortez mirrored the warning.
None of this has the force of the law, but the judges are doing what they can do.

In a public safety alert posted on Twitter, he also announced hospitals were at capacity and asked residents to shelter in place, avoid large gatherings, wear face coverings and practice social distancing.

In the post, Cortez asked residents to celebrate the Fourth of July "responsibly," and to "Conserve resources; ONLY call 911 if absolutely necessary."
Abbot is changing his tune somewhat - so give him some credit???

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order Thursday requiring masks to be worn in public spaces in counties with 20 or more Covid-19 cases. He also gave mayors and judges the mandate to restrict gatherings of 10 or more people.
In many of the countries, face masks are now a requirement, and I did not know about the mandate to restrict gatherings of 10 or more people.

Texas is expected to see nearly 2,000 new hospitalizations per day by mid-July, according to forecasts published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
There is no expectation that the virus will be be getting better anytime soon in Texas. So it's so bad in Texas they can't really cover it up anymore.

Having said that, according to the MSN virus tracker:

Florida has jumped New Jersey and Texas to move into 3rd place in the number of cases race, while Texas has jumped New Jersey to capture 4th. It's so bad in Texas that the can't really cover it up anymore, but it's worse in Florida and they are covering it up anyways.

The virus has already mutated into a second strain. This is not over by any means.

Trump won an election despite losing the popular vote, Georgia installed a governor who cheated to get a small victory, and Florida installed a governor who cheated to get a small victory. And now, the US, Florida, and Georgia are paying huge prices.

Just one correction: The reason Florida has currently jumped ahead of Texas is purely because Florida reports all of their (erroneous) numbers in one lump sum in the middle of the day--and today it was another record at 11.5k new cases--whereas Texas reports throughout the day and thus far hasn't reported any. Texas will be back at number 3 by the end of the day, though (fuck) Florida has been steadily catching up this past week and may pass them in earnest next week.

Blah, blah, blah. Even one cloth layer is better than nothing. Contact tracing and infection rates from the Trump rallies, and state protestes where masks were not worn show much larger infection spread than the BLM protests where most protestors were wearing masks.
