33,782, about the same as last week.
California: 2,513 new cases; 21 deaths
Wisconsin: 2,217 new cases; no deaths reported
Tennessee: 2,104 new cases; 3 deaths
Fuck Florida.
Illinois: 1,604 new cases; 13 deaths
Texas: 1,361 new cases; 35 deaths
North Carolina: 1,290 new cases; 1 death
Missouri: 1,199 new cases; 1 death
Minnesota: 1,075 new cases; 4 deaths
Utah: 1,068 new cases; 5 deaths
This is the lowest down on the list Texas has been in ages and frankly I don't fully trust the total. Testing has still been at best middling there and their positivity is still 10% and above. A lot of the Midwest is reporting numbers on this lull day about 50% higher than what they had the previous Sunday so it's still kicking off big time there. Michigan would probably also be on the list but they stopped reporting on Sundays. Expect their total tomorrow to be high but a bit out of proportion.
276 deaths isn't very different from last Sunday and puts the total at 209,453. As I said before we'll be hitting 210k by Tuesday. Already.
