"But did you ever see a man that likes a mask as much as him," Trump asked a campaign rally crowd in Pennsylvania on Thursday of former Vice President Joe Biden. "And then he makes a speech, and he always has it — not always, but a lot of times, he has it hanging down. Because, you know what, it gives him a feeling of security. If I were a psychiatrist — right? I'd say, this guy's got some big issues. Hanging down."
"I don't wear face masks like him," Trump said of Biden. "Every time you see him he's got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away ... and he shows up with the biggest mask I've ever seen."
"Tonight is an example. Everyone has had a test and you've had social distancing and all of the things that you have to," Trump said.
Sitting in the audience, without a face mask, was first lady Melania

Fortunately, the fine people at KIRO 7 News in Washington have already explored that. Though their calculations were before the ballots were printed, I expect it would be much the same as if Trump dies after the election but before January 6th (when the Electoral College votes): his electors would choose someone else to cast their votes for. Who that someone else is would likely be determined by the GOP. If he dies after January 6th, though, then we simply follow the line of succession and Pence becomes President.
Oh, I'm hearing that Wallace suggested Biden wasn't tested either. For the record, I'm equally angry at that if true. Being negative doesn't work as an excuse.
More information here.
I suspect Team Biden did actually test themselves but thanks to Trump's ridiculous drug test requirement, it's hard to sift through these articles to find proof of this. However, everything about the way Biden has handled the situation implies he did.
Possibly, stokes can really vary in severity and intensity.
At the smallest level it can litteraly just be a temporary numbness lasting only briefly with no noticeable lasting effects, it could be a series of small stokes, one medium stroke and a big one and you just get lucky with the after effects.
Ultimately it dosnt really matter the specifics, but it does make treating covid more complicated and puts him at much much higher risk of dieing to the desiease.
What I'm wondering is what happens, I know if the sitting president died the vp takes over, but does the vp automatically get the republicans nomination?
And what happens if he's given it to Biden? There is a distinct chance of that and thus a chance Biden could also die.
What happens if both presidential candidates die before the election?
Because were kinda in a reality where such a thing might not be a fictional scenario

Well aware of all of this.
The point being that it was an oddly specific denial for something nobody had ever brought up. A stroke was brought up. A series of mini-strokes was never hinted at.
It's like when someone is accused of vague "sexual impropriety" with another person and they come out with a statement saying, "No, I would never cover someone in green jello and then lick it off of them while they were passed out drunk."
Uh...nobody said anything about any of that? That's a really oddly specific denial?
As far as I am aware, this is not allowed by the Constitution. The Electoral College must vote on both a President and a Vice President. Waiting until the 21st would only occur in the event that Trump wins the election and then dies after January 6th when the Electoral College casts their votes.
Yep. As soon as I heard that he was on an experimental drug regime the thought ran through my head "He's in really really serious condition".
There's no way that the professional medical staff at the white house would authorize such treatments if that wasn't the case.
Experimental drugs for non medical trial sign ups are typically only used as a hail mary play for patients who doctors think will die anyway, because of the risk inherent in giving them experimental drugs.
Its what happened with hydroquinone earlier this year.
Wallace and/or FOX News are done fucking around with this.
Can't wait to see what Hannity says. Wait, has Hannity been tested?Appearing on several Fox News programmes, Wallace urged the audience to listen to qualified scientists and condemned turning the issue political.
“If I could say one thing to all of the people out there watching: Forget the politics. This is a public safety health issue," Wallace said. "The president of the United States is in the most secure bubble in the world in the sense that everybody who comes in contact with him has to take a test, and he still got it. Wear the damn mask and follow the science."
Wallace also pointed out the lack of qualifications of one of Mr. Trump’s top medical advisers, Scott Atlas, who has regularly appeared on the network. “I’m going to say something and, folks, I’m just trying to give you the truth,” Wallace said. “Dr. Scott Atlas is not an epidemiologist, is not an infectious disease specialist — he has no training in this area at all," he added.
“Listen to people like Anthony Fauci, listen to people like Deborah Birx, who have been largely cut off. Listen to the independent people who do not have a political ax to grind, and I frankly don’t think Scott Atlas is one of those people.”
Wallace also said members of Trump’s family removed their masks once they entered the debate hall on Tuesday. “A health person of the Cleveland Clinic came up to the first family when they were seated and offered them masks in case they didn’t have them, and they were waved away,” he added.
That's my take as well. Poetic as it would be, Trump shouldn't be COVID's kill, he should be voting America's metaphorical kill. Once he's out of the White House he can trip on a rock and die and I won't give a shit one way or another. But I want to see him decisively defeated while alive.
As if this election couldn't get any messier between the pandemic, tons of mail-in ballots, obvious Republican voter suppression especially of aforementioned mail-in ballots, Trump outright saying he'll only accept the result if he wins, and the entire SCOTUS situation that'll have to solve the case, now we have this and it'll only get messier if Trump is incapacitated or dead.
