Fun Fact: There are now more active cases of COVID-19 in the White House than the countries of New Zealand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Combined.

But I'm not sure that doctor was the one doing the testing. We need a credible member of the WH to come forward with this.
Trump's inner circle would literally rather die at this point. But surely the doctor who performed the test doesn't have such political stakes.

The VP debate should not occur. Pence has been in close contact with people who tested positive with Covid. Follow your own guidelines damnit.

Um...so just to be clear, McConnell refused to negotiate because he didn't want to waste his time on anything Trump would block. Pelosi went to Trump personally and he threw her out with an intentionally ridiculous offer. Trump does not get to say "DO SOMETHING!" when this is his fault.
Dr. Conley might not have been the one doing the testing, but one gets the distinct impression he's aware of more than he's letting on. I.e. refusal to clarify questions about the timeline after making inconsistent remarks, and dodging questions as to whether or not Trump has needed supplemental oxygen this week.
And I mean this is the regime's fault for lying and gaslighting constantly so we have no reason to believe anything they say. Fair game.

How the fuck can someone support him after this... I say again for the 50th time.
How much do you guys think Trump is enjoying all the “obese, 73 year old” headlines?

So here's the thing:
White House enters cleanup mode over Trump's COVID-19 timeline
Translation:White House physician Sean Conley said in a statement Saturday that he misspoke at a press conference earlier that day to update the nation on President Trump's coronavirus diagnosis and trip to Walter Reed Medical Center.
During the press conference, Conley said Trump was "72 hours into the diagnosis now," even though Trump announced his positive COVID-19 test late Thursday evening. Conley said in the new statement that he meant to say "day three" into the diagnosis.
Conley's statement also said he misspoke about about "48 hours" instead of calling referring to it as the second day of Trump's treatment, although that statement came from another of Trump's physicians, Dr. Brian Garibaldi.
Team Trump has lied thousands of times. They also intentionally court conspiracy theorists. They could be 100% telling the truth about a verbal slip, and they should still not expect anyone to believe them.WOLF! WOLF!
I hereby declare "the White House is lying about Trump's condition" to not be a conspiracy theory, but instead following a logical chain of evidence reaching back four years. Oh, and I'm declaring this even while I'm not 100% in that camp yet. I'm simply pointing out that not believing the WH is completely logical and a fair consequence to their actions.
This time, I am making the rules.

No chance.
If he died now, two things would immeidately happen.
1) No medical professional in the country would ever work with Trump or his team, ever again.
2) Everyone would see the result and correctly surmise what happened. The effect would be the reverse of the attention.
Umm, yeah. This may not end well.

McConnell ends Senate floor activity.
I guess McConnell doesn't want to have a coronavirus relief bill voted on, when 3 of his team are missing because of coronavirus.
Oh, he still wants that SCOTUS judge. You know, the one who might possibly have infected everyone else?

'Nightmare scenario': Trump campaign confronts daunting task of making up ground
Oh, thank God.President Donald Trump's coronavirus diagnosis has been an earthquake for his campaign, leaving some Republicans to worry that the election is slipping away.
The president's wishful assertions that the virus would disappear have been shattered. If it wasn't clear enough, it is now: The election will be about the coronavirus.
Trump's iconic campaign rallies are canceled
Yeah...I really want to see Trump defend his economic record. Even ignoring 2020, he never gave the results he promised. He did not create enough jobs. He did not raise GPD high enough. The tax cut for the rich did not pay for itself. Even the stock market underperformed. He did almost as well as Obama, despite repeatedly saying Obama was the worst ever.depriving him one of his best chances to recruit new supporters and excite his old ones, while placing a brighter spotlight on his history of rarely wearing a mask and downplaying the severity of the virus.
As the president was admitted to a hospital for treatment Friday, his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, who tested negative for COVID-19 and whom the president had mocked for campaigning virtually, spent the day shoring up support in person in the battleground state of Michigan.
The September jobs report released Friday — the last to be released before Election Day on Nov. 3 — revealed signs of a sputtering recovery just as Trump was counting on the improving economy to propel him to another four years.
Although he has an advantage with voters over Biden on who would best handle the economy, surveys show the country trusts the former vice president by wide margins on managing the coronavirus and the health care system. The president's infection adds new scrutiny to his management of the virus, which has been his political Achilles' heel.
"This does put the focus squarely on the health care side of COVID and not the economic side, which the president and his campaign wanted to focus on," said Republican consultant Matt Gorman, a top aide for the party's House campaign arm in 2018.
I agree Trump doesn't want to discuss COVID-19, even when he hadn't tested positive yet. Who would? He has no plan, he's blocking the second relief bill personally, he made shit up and countermanded doctors' orders, and infected half his damn team. It's just that, he doesn't have much else to talk about either. Promises stop meaning something when he had four years and did nothing or next to nothing.
Mitch McConnell is just such a massive bag of human excrement, it's unreal.
Isn't it interesting how none of the BLM protests turned into superspreader events. /sips tea
Who would have thought a piece of fabric could be so complicated?
