I hereby declare "the White House is lying about Trump's condition" to not be a conspiracy theory, but instead following a logical chain of evidence reaching back four years. Oh, and I'm declaring this even while I'm not 100% in that camp yet. I'm simply pointing out that not believing the WH is completely logical and a fair consequence to their actions.

This time, I am making the rules.

I too require an entire team of doctors to inform everyone that I am perfectly fine in a hospital where I have not been seen since yesterday.

His death will be one of relief to his doctors, cos they're like 'we really can't spin being never better in ten different ways if he's dead'.

Hmm, no pictures. That's a good point. If nothing else, he's in a hospital bed, projecting the image of weakness.

How much does CNN want to keep focus on this?

    This much:

Even if the doc was politically opposed to the president, he'd still like to keep his medical license. Something he can't do if he spreads medical results of a patient (even the president) without their consent, much less against their wishes.

I mean, unless you're trying to derail, I guess.

Do you really lose your medical license if you answer a question about national security with factual information? I get that medical information is typically confidential, but when it's being freely disclosed -- well, when the claimed info is being freely disclosed -- it's clear that's not really the issue.

Uhhh... take this with a glacier sized hunk of salt

I don’t want to be alarmist, but a GOP source just told me this: “Trump’s condition is serious. He can go either way. Despite all the meds and the presidential care, they could lose him within 3 to 4 days. They’re trying to make his condition look good to reassure his base.”
I have no way to confirm this report, but I felt that I should pass it along. This GOP source has proven reliable multiple times in the past.

This could very possibly be bait...

But Trump has historically hated hospitals so he wouldn't be there unless it was very serious.

This comes from an OP ED article. It just happens to be opinions I share. Because it's CNN and OP ED I'll hit only the highlights -- read the rest if you want, but you probably can guess what is in there.

First, there is a global message that the White House would not or could not do what is necessary to protect its own staff, and the President. This basic fact adds to an already strong narrative that the White House will not or cannot do what's necessary to protect Americans by, for example, insisting that all personnel wear masks.

Second, there is an immediate operational impact on the functioning of our government -- at the highest levels. I lived through H1N1 at the White House. Then-President Barack Obama and his senior staff advised all personnel to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other relevant guidelines and to be as cautious as possible because he cared about our health and because he knew what an outbreak would mean for national security.

It cannot be stressed enough that the whole world knows that the President and his national security team isn't operating at full capacity and that the US doesn't have a full team on deck.

Because of the White House's track record with the truth, the public has good reason to distrust what it is saying about the situation that the senior team is facing. That just adds to more confusion and panic at a time when we were already confronting enough.

okay, what I meant about Bernie is that he isn't gonna run again? If Trump is a failure then get another one

well yeah you are right, what Trump supporters fail to see is that he downplayed the virus and made dumb shits to it and the only one really doing the stuff against China is Pompeo, and yet they still see Trump as some sort of a "God Emperor Messiah" and they keep forcing their dumb ideologies in the Milk Tea Alliance

bottom line is, I don't like Biden either; but if he wins anyway then okay - I hope at least your US secretary or whoever succeeds Pompeo would have a better backbone against China.

All this speculative stuff Ultimately isn’t that helpful.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t want trump to die from this. I want him out of the White House legitimately, having been officially rejected by the American people, both in his personage and what he represents politically. Then I want him brought up on all relevant and applicable charges and stare down any and all fines and jail time that result that expose him for the criminal scum bag he is.

Death? That’s the easy way out.
