Trump shut down our government during 2018/19 because the dems wouldn't add roughly 6 billion for a wall on the Mexican border. Holding our country hostage is pretty much modus operandi. He gets what he wants or he tantrums (or sues) in hopes that you'll give in.

I'm not sure why he hasn't considered the possibility that people won't just vote for the other guy who isn't holding the country hostage and would pass a stimulus anyway. It's really dumb, lol.

I believe so, though he doesn't have majority support from those with college education or higher, his support amongst non-college educated white men allows him to have an edge amongst white men overall.
