You think Trump had the chairs in the Cabinet meeting room wired up like this?

Again I would have to believe as Trump is rushing on to his private jet to book it to Russia, SA, or some other believed safe haven he would be greeted with Secret Service agents or some form of Federal Agents on the plane telling him he can't leave the country and escort him back to his house. He has national security secrets and there is no way they would allow him to leave the country.
I'm hoping so because let me tell you.

Shit involving pretenders to the throne taking refuge in rival countries can get very, very whack.

Given that he kept pointing to Matt Gaetz and saying "Rick Gates" during his Florida rally today I'm guessing if he rigged up such a system he'd constantly be sending the "wrong" person to their death--or to be very badly burned.

Dammit don't show me something like this because then I might say something that gets me in trouble here and possibly on a Federal watch list for saying something about wishing the harm on members of Trumps cabinet/inner sanctum of slimy bastards.

My message to America’s seniors today is one of optimism, confidence and hope. Your sacrifice has not been in vain. The light at the need of the tunnel is near. We are rounding the turn

If Trump does flee to another country, can all of his followers follow him there so that they can be that country's problem?

Would the SS be able to do it if he is still President and can command them?
Because obviously after Jan 20th he isn't leaving the country, but what if he leaves on the 19th?
Can the SS detain the current President?
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

    Legally? Probably not.
Practically? "oh geez sir, the car doesn't work. we gotta wait for another vehicle" "damn I missed the exit, too bad we have to wait out the tarffic jam now"

Rudy Giuliani Is My Father. Please, Everyone, Vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

What is it with all these Team Trump members being sold out by their own family?

This is the part that sticks out the most:

If being the daughter of a polarizing mayor who became the president’s personal bulldog has taught me anything, it is that corruption starts with “yes-men” and women, the cronies who create an echo chamber of lies and subservience to maintain their proximity to power. We’ve seen this ad nauseam with Trump and his cadre of high-level sycophants (the ones who weren’t convicted, anyway).
A lot of Team Trump has been indicted, arrested, or convicted. It's being overstated on social media, but it's still high.

Matt Gaetz is dead. Long live Rick Gates, long may he be mocked.

Despite years of kissing Trump's massive behind, Matt Ga- I mean, Rick Gates, was humiliated by Donald Trump when the Celebrity Apprentice star kept referring to him by the wrong name. Just imagine, a man you claim is your idol, doesn't give two shits about you in return and can't even remember your name.

Maybe Rick Gates will learn now that loyalty to Trump does not mean loyalty from Trump. It is a one way street. Always has been.

    Man I love schadenfreude.

There is a non-negligible chance he and his family will try to flee.

They all full well know that there is a barrel full of criminal charges being held back for the day when he and his family are no longer shielded by Trump's occupation of the presidential office.

Fleeing to Russia is about the only way they will be able to avoid them.

Even if Trump doesn't make it out it's quite possible that some of his family will be able to.

That would implode the Republican party of course, but when have any of the Trump family crime syndicate given a shit about anyone or anything other than themselves?

I don't even think this is the first time, but it's a good story to have at the ready when someone says "hur dur Biden is senile".

Maybe Trump really doesn't know who QAnon is, if he can't remember who his supporters are?

    On topic: remember when

Granted, Trump can just choose to, you know, not prosecute himself for all those laws he breaks, but if he loses the election while breaking the law, he's on the hook.

For added fun, more people watched Biden's town hall than Trump's.

I actually am not sure what he believes on an ideological level, other than himself. With some you see an attempt to advance a particular ideology, but with him, it seems to be about his wants and whims. People call him fascist aligned, and frankly I am not sure (not the same as saying I don't think he is), he says what he thinks his base wants to hear, but I don't know how much of it he actually means and believes himself. He is willing to appease some very (imho) unpleasant groups to maintain power, so that would indicate that whatever he may believe, it is more aligned with them than other groups, but I dunno, his narcissism seems as such that it is possible he believes in next to nothing other than himself.
