Biden has already committed to a 6 month bipartisan committee to "explore reforming the judicial system," so I doubt it would happen before next summer. Even if the committee unanimously says "expand the court" that'd come out in June, he might get the law passed by July, and only start nominating people in the early fall.
I can understand him wanting to "lay the groundwork" to make the expansion more legitimate....but yeah...it's gonna be too little too late, at least in re: COVID.
Even if Trump breaks a promise he shouldn't have made, he doesn't get credit -- because he still broke a promise, and he made a promise he shouldn't have.
The latest example?
So Trump sent out an email to his donors talking about a big party at his DC hotel, and One Lucky Winner will get to join him for free!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand about that, Not only is the party apparently canceled, well more specifically Trump won't be there despite promising he would be, but the DC mayor said this was the first they'd heard of it when asked.
"So you're saying Trump expects to lose, and doesn't want to do it in public?"
Actually no, Trump continues to send the message that he'll not only win bigly, but also, anything that says he loses is Fake News and illegal. I think the party's going to be shut down because it goes past 50 people, and Trump can't stop it.
The latest report is Trump will instead stay at his campaign headquarters, the White House.
So Trump tried to freeze his supporters in Omaha and now he is trying to cook his supporters in Tampa Bay. I would ask with friends like these who needs enemies but then I remember that Trumpsters are stupid enough to get back up and ask for another when they get slapped in the face.

At least a dozen people who were overcome by heat during Donald Trump’s rally in Tampa, Florida Thursday, were taken to a local hospital, authorities reported.
Although 17 people needed medical attention, some were treated at the scene, fire department officials told NBC News. One person who was transported to an area hospital had fainted and another suffered a seizure. Details of other conditions were not immediately determined.
A fire truck sprayed water into the air to rain down on rallygoers and keep them cool. At one point, Trump asked the crowd if the spray was coming from “friend or foe,” adding: “If they’re foe, let’s take care of those sons of bitches.”
Many of the packed, mostly maskless supporters had been waiting for hours in the 87-degree heat outside the Raymond James Stadium:
It was the third version of a health scare at a Trump rally in recent weeks.
On Tuesday, 30 people at a rally at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska, needed medical attention after they were stranded for hours in the cold waiting for late Trump campaign buses to pick them up following the president’s speech. Seven people were taken to area hospitals with a “variety of medical ailments,” officials told HuffPost.
Authorities in a number of cities have also reported COVID-19 spikes suspected of being linked to Trump rallies, where supporters failed to social distance or wear masks. Five counties ― two in Minnesota, two in Pennsylvania and one in Wisconsin ― experienced a surge in coronavirus cases following Trump campaign rallies, according to an analysis from USA Today.
Much of the nation is already experiencing record increases in coronavirus cases as the nation’s death toll Thursday neared 229,000.
Critics have compared the health scares at Trump’s rallies to his administration’s lack of concern — or action — to help Americans battling the pandemic.
In a joint rally appearance with the president in Tampa, first lady Melania Trump insisted that “health care for every citizen remains a priority” for her husband, even as his administration works to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.
On Tuesday in Pennsylvania, she told a crowd that he has “a very big heart.”
My point was that you shouldn't risk getting booted out of line because you want to wear some party's slogan on your mask, not complaining about the laws.

6, down to 5, moved slowly to 10, then decreased to 7, followed by an increase to 9. There's currently a ~140 year old law setting the court at 9 justices, but that's not exactly a "reason" it can't be expanded, just an additional hurdle.
Well, he's the one that decided to have outdoor rallies in late fucking October. What did he expect?
"Probably not the heat wave."
Dude lives in Florida. He should have expected the heat.
At least he/his campaign canceled the one in gale-force winds. Joking about his rug aside, that could easily have hurt yet more people.
Pass legislation saying SCOTUS judges = # of appellate circuit courts
Then state that no party can have more than a simple majority on the court (meaning Republicans can have no more than 7 of 13 seats.)
I do like the idea of getting Boofing Brett and OfJesse kicked off the court though . . .

And now, Trump tweets about the election:
And that's... wait... <checks the tweet> Oh, right, that makes sense; it's from Mary Trump. The Supreme Court rules that all absentee ballots must be counted in NC and PA and it’s described as a win for Democrats. But it’s a win for America. The fact that Republicans think it’s a loss for them tells you everything you need to know.

Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
"mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

The account is pointing out that betting odds are projecting Biden to win. What he claims is smart money, is casinos offering a better pay out for Trump. At no point realizing the concept that the House always wins, which is why they are not paying out for a Biden win.

No that she was more likely, but that her winning would pay out more... for what should be obvious reasons.
If anyone wants to bet me a Ninja Turtle will win the election, I will give you 100000000000 times the pay out, a Trump win would net. Any takers?
