Esper was going to drop the Confederate names on the Military bases, which Trump stopped.

Not just the bases, but everything else. Street names on bases, names of buildings etc. He wanted to functionally remove the stain of the Confederacy from the US military.

Sounds like a good guy, which goes against everything with the racism of Trump.

Governor puts up a restriction on dining and bars....local law enforcement refuses to do anything when places jam above capacity just to stick it to the man....all without social distancing and masks of course.

Biden is calling for a mask mandate. He has no authority at this time, and the states that don't have one won't listen. "Coincidentally" these states also had a large proportion of in-person voters.

Besides what others points out, how do justify the idea that Biden was hiding in his basement and trying to act like he was holding Trump like rallies?

When Trump was calling it a democrat hoax, were democrats actually right?

The pandemic response team was put in place by Obama/Biden administration, but dismantled by Trump and cut CDC budget by 19%, because his tax cut for the rich was too expensive.

No, Trump thought Americans were panicky, so he lied and lied and lied and lied... and what was his lie? Don’t panic about the virus, because of antifa? How is that not killing people for political reason? What both sides?

Patently false - you cannot "both" sides this at all. Remind us again who fucked up the entire response to this pandemic? And which party/group enabled that fuck up, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again? In the face of objective science.

The only way you can "both" sides this is if you embrace ignorance and side with liars and grifters. Let us know what you choose.

While I am glad that a record number of citizens were able to cast their vote this election, it would make sense that the polling stations would add on to the COVID spread. Even those who are infected and coughing their lungs out have the right to cast their vote.

Again, I am never against voting but there are simple causes and effects.

To be fair, it's possible to get sick after the deadline to request an absentee ballot but before election day.

Also to be fair, we could move to 100% mail-in voting and it wouldn't be a problem.

True. But then, a few states (cough NY cough) let EVERYONE mail their vote.

Some states *cough Washington cough* do even better. We're already 100% mail-in voting.

Jokes on COVID, I bought clippers years ago and have been buzzing my whole head to a 0.5(1.5mm) every two weeks since. Saved a lot of money honestly, $50 Wahl clippers have lasted all this time with just basic cleaning/oiling.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but the vaccine Pence was claiming credit for was funded by Germany, not the US. So thank you, Germany.

After my winter beard, I'm going back to shaving my head all year. I think I'd look a touch silly with no hair but a full beard. I also don't trust me to even out the sides between sideburns and hair.

I had considered going back through this thread for a "worst of the worst" list. Who knows, I may yet do that.

However, it's fun when someone does the work for you.

GQ lists the top 50 worst things, I put the timer at #10. It's not an exhaustive list, other than the fact it was exhausting to live through, and you might not agree with the order 100%. But, if any Sea Lion out there were to ask "I don't support Trump, but did he really do anything all that bad?" just grab a handful from the list and shove it right up their virtual ass.
