Iran would have to be a complete idiot to strike now, of all times, since even if Trump didn't insist on staying and dealing with the consequences of his own actions, he'd order every single bomb in the US arsenal launched immediately purely out of frustration and spite. If Iran really wanted to do military damage to the US, they'd wait for Biden's hamstrung transition. If they want Biden to re-join the Iran Nuclear Deal, they'll sit patiently and wait...while enriching uranium because at this point why not? They can always just hand it over.
