For those calling for the 25th amendment, from what I heard last night, that will never work. Once Trump objects, they need 2/3 of BOTH houses to override him. Impeaching only needs 51% of the house and 2/3 of the senate. That's the only way to go.

I saw someone of put up a flowchart on how it would work. this is from memory as i can't find the tweet now, but should be mostly correct.

1. Cabinet Invokes the 25th
2. VP immediately takes over presidential duties
3. President disagrees
4. Cabinet has 4(?) days to respond. if they do not president resumes duties. If they come back and say. ya you suck we invoking the 25th then it goes to congress
5. VP still does presidential duties during this time
6. Congress is called into session if not already. they have 21 days. it requires 3/4 majority to affirm removal.
7. IF Congress affirms removal VP continues acting as pres. if not President resumes duties. If no vote in those 21 days President resumes duties.

So if i was reading it right they could invoke the 25th. Trump would say nope i am not giving it up willingly and it would go to congress. Congress could just not act in the remaining 10 or so days and during that time Pence would be the acting president.

Are you sure about that? Some Republicans say so now but when they actually have to put their name and vote I think they will find an excuse not to remove. "It's only a couple days longer" etc.
