DeSantis knows only the teachers in blue city areas would dare to strike over this. It's actually a brilliant move.

    *ahem*

Until yokel red counties start dying in even larger groups than you already linked, red yokel counties impose mandates, the blue states do the same and DeSantis gets nothing. I'm just going to guess late Sept/early Oct.

Nonono, we're still waiting on Mike Lindell's cyber-symposium, where his cyber-guys will duke it out with everyone else's cyber-guys to declare cyber-victory.

He's supposed to release his "proof" during this August 10-12 "event". Then he will totes give any invited cyber-guy who can disprove the "proof" a prize of $5 million.

So pencil it in for August 13th, I guess...

Steve Bannon personally plugged it and suggested that Chinese govt officials should attend, probably to paint a picture that Biden was protecting China by preventing them from attending.

This is the miracle, Steve. This is what God has done for our country when we get out there and be one nation under God again. This can be the biggest uniting of our country ever, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican or what you are, boom, against a common enemy, the CCP that used the Democratic Party to steal our election and invade our country.
Of course, Lindell is going to spend 72 hours showing random code blips and spewing nonsense, and everyone will of course say the same thing: "This is useless garbage". If Lindell has evidence of a crime, he should have turned it over to law enforcement, not thrown it a parade.

I honestly don't know if it's a scam or if he's legit insane. He has nothing, and yet others are egging him on.

Which averages to 26,000 and change three days in a row. Odds seem good that at least one day hit 30,000 but even if none did, that's their second-worst day, three times in a row.

I did not, I assumed Florida just gave 3 or 4 equal days like they did last times. My bad. Yes, that's their second-worst day twice in a row, and 23k is easily the top ten. Florida is committing suicide.

Sighing and shaking his head, Gov. Abbott asks hospitals to delay elective procedures and bring in guest doctors from out of state, because Texas is overwhelmed.

How did this happen? If only someone had warned us that ignoring the pandemic wouldn't make it go away
"Har har. What did he really say?"

The State of Texas is taking action to combat the recent rise in COVID-19 cases and ensure that our hospitals and communities have the resources and support they need to mitigate the virus. Texans can help bolster our efforts by getting vaccinated against COVID-19. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective, and it is our best defense against this virus.
"Ah, so surely he also stopped opposing mask mandates in schools, because children can't get vaccinated?"

    No.

"Why would doctors come in from a neighboring state and help Texas?"

They wouldn't. Neighboring states are almost as bad.

"Why would doctors come in from any other state and help Texas?"

I don't think a lot of them would. There might be some anti-maxxer states that aren't currently spiking, I haven't checked the Dakotas recently. Most doctors, even those in Texas and Florida, have opposed the population's and governor's lackluster prevention tactics and have expressed how overworked they are. They're not making a great selling point. Cash, maybe?

    How do you prosecute Trump?

    1. He has the Russians backing him. The worst kind of mafioso Russians out of something like Serbian Film that no one would want to mess with. While his criminal connections are probably more expansive, a lawyer facing the challenge of taking down Trump will probably call it quits at the first signs of death threats if they value their life.
    .
Besides the criminal aspect there, who knows what information he leaked to the Russians? If he is ever incarcerated, he could threaten this as leverage for the last resort.

    2. His influence over the masses and ability to incite violence and terror. While it's true these people would be killed or subdued easily, becoming a martyr for neo-nazis can cause unfathomable damage. People would start causing shootings or terror acts in Trump's name if he were imprisoned or executed at worst. A simple gesture of "fight like hell" would rile up half of America into anarchy. Therefore, I imagine prosecutors are genuinely afraid of going after Trump and let him be despite all the evidence of crime and treason.

Overall, it's a case of a man who holds the influence and power to do whatever he likes with impunity knowing he's quite untouchable. Lesser people having done what Trump has would have already been executed for high treason. But Donald Trump isn't even so much as behind bars for a time out.

That's... an awful lot of fiction, right there. You have an overactive imagination.

Or perhaps you just like exaggerating things while asking ridiculous questions for some unknown, but presumably nefarious purpose.

Not only is this not true (Russians were perfectly willing to use his stupidity, but there's no connection to organized crime), even if it were, it wouldn't matter. You vastly overestimate the power of Russian crime bosses.

That's more reason to incarcerate. Not less.

A few domestic terrorists aren't going to achieve any meaningful shift in anything. It wouldn't be "half of America". At best, you might get a couple thousand morons like you did on January 6th. Which only got as far as they did because of complicity from within, as Trump was still in power at the time. If they'd put the Capitol Police out in force, or called in the National Guard pre-emptively, January 6 wouldn't have happened. Because those assholes are cowards and dipshits, not a revolutionary force.

didn't Trump almost beat Biden and have millions of supporters? He isn't independent either, he's a Republican after all, so he has a significant political party backing him.

If by "almost", you mean "losing by 7 million votes in an Electoral College biased in his favor". And as for "million of supporters"; so what? There's a big whopping difference between waddling out to vote for the Republican, and taking up actual arms to fight on their behalf.

He isn't independent either, he's a Republican after all, so he has a significant political party backing him.
He isn't a Republican, other than possibly as a voter. He isn't part of any party whatsoever and has no political role in any capacity.

Trump claimed he won in a landslide in 2016. But Biden got the same amount of EC votes in 2020, and people think it was fucking close. Trump only won by 77k votes in 2016 across 3 states. Biden won by more than double.

That's nice dear. Doesn't really change the fact the veiled threats of insurrection are still pretty limp dick.

in the end people, I'm just saying Trump will never be prosecuted. That's just reality and how power works.

The fact he tried an insurrection, is still free, and the GOP found ways to blame anything but Trump or themselves speaks volumes.

    America is divided and broken.

He's already been impeached twice, so.

This is wishful thinking on your part. If the DoJ doesn't go after him, New York or another state will.

To say nothing of his creditors.

He also boasted that COVID would be gone by summer of 2020.

And then proceeded to nearly die of COVID himself the following autumn.

Maybe believing the word of a chronic and habitual liar isn't a smart strategy. Maybe workshop that a bit.

Like I said, it would have to be now, or never. More schools in Florida are applying mask mandates.
