Comforting if true, but Trump would win any primary unless we find out Melania had an abortion, he's arrested, or dies. His rabid fanbase would drive him to victory over everything else, and would vote for him if arrested...but the RNC would be able to place him aside if he was in jail.

So Grisham apparently revealed some details about Trump's mystery trip to Walter Reed in 2019. It appears to be for a colonoscopy, though she doesn't name it specifically, in which Trump was put under for it.

Fine, whatever, Trump didn't want to be the "butt of a joke" and I can get that.

First off - This is a HUGE problem. There needs to be someone awake and functional with executive authority, and having that person be sedated without passing that authority on could easily trigger a Constitutional crisis. There are procedures for this in place and it's fairly standard shit, sign a form saying you pass on authority to your VP, whom you ostensibly trust not to go rogue for a few hours, and authority is passed back as soon as the president is awake and alert again.

When I heard about that, I was immediately reminded of his dumbfuck "I don't see myself wearing a mask as I greet kings, queens, dictators, ..." quote. Both prime examples of times he was willing to put the country in danger all to protect his fragile ego over some incredibly moronic shit.

After failing to provide any evidence to support their lawsuits, a judge ordered them to pay for any fees incurred by the litigation and go through a dozen hours of remedial legal education, each.

Things are not looking great for Lin Wood.

For one, the family of Kyle Rittenhouse -- you remember Kyle Rittenhouse? Guy who shot two unarmed protestors and then fled the scene? -- anyhow the family is saying, Wood is trying to keep the bail money. Problem is, Wood didn't pay the bail money. For two, apparently he was involved in some settlements in a case involving another teenager...dude seems to like hanging out with small boys, where's that Epstein lawyer...and his former partners (guess why they're former!) are saying Lin Wood is trying to steal their share of the settlements, and also, that Wood lied to a judge about doing it.

Oh, and that Wood sent emails on the topic and those former partners have those emails. Memo to everyone: if you're going to commit a crime, stop writing that shit down.

And third, a judge has ordered Lin Wood to take a mental health exam, on the grounds that he's crazy or maybe a substance abuser -- both of which are grounds for unrelated disbarrment to the post I'm quoting.

105,633 new cases; about 28k fewer than last week. 1,836 deaths, about 400 fewer than last week, bringing the total to 711,222. Texas, Florida and Georgia led in deaths.

I expect things will be picking up again today and tomorrow, but at this rate we could be dropping back below 100k cases daily within the next week or so. Even though Alaska is now up to 179 cases per 100k, the worst in the nation.

Few quick additions.

One, the NYTimes tracker is also showing a nationwide decrease in cases and hospitalizations -- a significant one -- from 2 weeks prior. Deaths are up slightly in that same time period, at two thousand a day.

Two, Alaska's highest peak is Denali, at over 20,000 feet. But the highest peak in their COVID cases was 700/day back in December. Was. They passed that last week and are now nearly double that. Basically, they're pulling a Florida. Benggaul covered the cases/100k, to put 179 in perspective, Florida right now is claiming 25 and at their worst were still under 150.

Basically, Alaska is more fucked right now than even Florida was at Florida's worst. And no I'm not defending Florida, the state was a suicide cult and it cost them thousands of lives in the last 30 days alone. Alaska just saw that and said "hold my canned salmon".

In the last 14 days, the NYTimes has Alaska doubling its cases and quintupling its deaths. Oh sure, "quintuple" means "twelve" but the proportion based on averages is still alarming. Alaska is an effectively sealed system and it's already getting stupid cold there. There is no mask mandate for the state, but there is one for the majority of school districts.

A Donald Trump donor is accusing Corey Lewandowski, one of the former president’s longtime top aides, of making unwanted sexual advances toward her at a Las Vegas charity event over the weekend.

Trashelle Odom, the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom, alleges that Lewandowski repeatedly touched her, including on her leg and buttocks, and spoke to her in sexually graphic terms. Odom said that Lewandowski “stalked” her throughout the evening.

Four people who were first-hand witnesses at the event corroborated Odom’s allegations. POLITICO also spoke with two people — one who was at the event and another who was not — who described conversations they had with Odom about the incidents immediately after they happened.

“On the evening of September 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, I attended a dinner to support a charity and spend time with wonderful friends,” Odom said in a statement to POLITICO. “He repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me, and made me feel violated and fearful,” she said, referring to Lewandowski.

“I am coming forward because he needs to be held accountable,” Odom continued. “I am blessed to have a loving husband and family behind me. I want other women to know that you can be heard, too, and together we can stop terrible things like this from happening.”

Two of the people present for the dinner described Odom as appearing uncomfortable, and three attendees said Lewandowski appeared to be intoxicated. Photos of the dinner reviewed by POLITICO show Odom posing for selfies with attendees. Several photos showed Lewandowski just above her right shoulder, with his tongue sticking out of his mouth.

Odom then left the restaurant for an after-dinner party in the hotel’s lavish Verona Sky Villa, where witnesses described a chaotic scene. One person who interacted with Odom recalled seeing her in tears and pleading for help. By this time, she had been joined by her sister and stepson, who had accompanied her to Las Vegas.

Attendees said Odom retreated to the other side of the bar with her sister and stepson when Lewandowski came to the villa. Lewandowski followed her, at which point several other attendees tried to shield Odom from him, shepherding her to another part of the bar, according to three people who were present. According to Odom’s attorney, “Corey then moved around the bar with them” and continued “to try to touch Mrs. Odom.”

And more bad news for Trump. Remember Omarosa Manigault Newman? The lady who was a contestant on The Apprentice, then got hired in to the administration, then was bringing friends around on tours without approval and being generally useless?

Manigault Newman had signed a nondisclosure agreement with the 2016 Trump campaign, which the Trump legal team argued was violated by her authorship of the book. But the agreement was voided by a New York arbitrator on Friday. The decision was first reported by The New York Times on Tuesday.

NDA was junk, so she's in no legal jeopardy from her book. It ALSO potentially opens up everyone else who signed a NDA (at least in New York where the decision was made) to treat it like a piece of trash. If you want a delicious piece of irony -
