As for the other part, it's true that Powell's legacy will always be...let's say "mixed" because it's too soon after his death for me to explain how I really feel.

Powell had cancer, which compromised his immune system. And while its true no vaccine makes you 100% immune, it prepares your immune system to target and destroy the virus quickly (in this case, before it destroys your lungs). So yeah, weak immune system makes for a weak immune response, however Powell would still be alive today if the people around him bothered to get vaccinated or wear masks.

As a reminder, Trump is being sued for something he's accused of from 2015. He stalled and used Executive Time while in office, which should have been illegal because he wasn't in office for the event in question. He tried to use Executive Time after, too, but at least now he's on the record.
