it's not by my own words, though. It's fact. Also, stop calling it racism upfront like that it makes everyone involved with the GOP/right seem like an asshole

Like on Fox News every day they constantly go on with anti-Chinese sentiments 24/7. Have you seen Tucker Carlson talk?

Why not call a spade a spade? Calling racism racism seems just fine to me. No need to couch it in the obfuscating trappings that the right routinely does to make it more palatable to their minority audience.

Yes it is fact all GOP support racism. I get you don't want others to state facts cause you admit you vote GOP and even though you literally just implicated yourself as factually racist because of it, you try to backtrack, but we're gonna continue to state facts.

it's just nigh impossible to be objective with Trump or the GOP anymore. You get slammed for anything that isn't condemning or criticizing either

Have you considered answering the direct, specific question you were asked? Because right now all you're doing is playing the victim card. Playing the victim card is not a defense. It's an admission of cowardice.

Not half, just the entire GQP. The GQP that are factually, even you admit, are all racist.

if it's less than half, how did Trump get elected? How do we keep bringing in GOP candidates successfully?

He didn't win the popular vote in either election, champ, so less than half. And in the first election he managed to gull a larger chunk of non-GoP Independents.

Even in 2020, he got 74.2m votes out of a VEP of 239.2m. So 31.0%. Biden got 34.0%.

In 2016, Trump only got 63m of 230.9, so 27.3%. Hillary had 28.5%.

Someone also doesn't understand the Electoral College.

And, by your admission, they are evil racists.

Also by your admission, "you" are "they."

By the transitive property, you have admitted exactly what you are, and what you believe.

For reference, my youtube recommendations don't look anything like yours; I see absolutely none of what you're talking about.
Like, my Youtube recommendations are something around 25% paleontology stuff (I went down a deep dive and rekindled my childhood love for dinos, sue me), 40% gaming stuff (D&D or vidya games, mostly silly-ass streamers for the latter), and the rest is mostly lit-tube fiction stuff or, yes, video essayists talking about shit I like including, yes, politics.

    That's such an eclectic mix it's super fucking obvious it's curated to what I watch. Going over my current Home feed, and I have, in the order Youtube gives me;
    Halo Wars 2 insanity video
    Video about ancient crocs
    Tim Burton movies essay
    Polyrythms music theory
    Gag video about health potions
Super Mario Bros deep dive vid
Essay about some weird travel show
    Baby dinosaur video
Big Fat Quiz of Everything video
    Spiffing Brit breaking a game
    Clip show from Taskmaster

And so on. That's pretty normal shit for my feed, and I probably won't even watch half of those, I'll click "not interested" for one reason or another. Literally nothing directly political whatsoever.

Because Youtube feeds are curated to the user. If all you see is Trump-yay Biden-Nay stuff, it's because that's all you watch on Youtube. They're describing the bubble they built around themselves, the safe space where they never have to be challenged by an opposing viewpoint.

Yes, I watch a lot of weird shit and this is partly why I have opinions about everything. Sue me.

Well, now that the holiday weekend is over, it definitely looks like we're starting to saunter vaguely downward. New cases today hit 711k, which is a decrease of 103k from the reported total last Wednesday.

Deaths, as a lagging indicator, are unfortunately still moving up and reached 2374 today, an increase of 105 compared to last Wednesday's report. The winter high 7-day average for deaths is 1962, which is approaching the high mark of 2030 from the delta surge this last summer.

Worldwide, we saw a new record for new cases at just under 3.5 million. India's omicron surge is starting to heat up, though the numbers are almost certainly a vaaaaaast undercount, as with previous waves in that country. France continues to surprise everyone with their ever-increasing new case counts. Today they posted 436k and yesterday was 465k. That's the equivalent of 2.25m a day in US population terms.

Just because I like to eat live babies for dinner people call me evil. People all over the WORLD eat babies, so are you really going to tell me they're all evil? It's absolutely unfair and I'm such a victim here of an oppressive society. Despite my god-given freedom of speech, I can't even talk about the succulent taste of baby shortribs without people calling me out. My speech is protected so I should be able to discuss the feeling of baby blubber wriggling down my throat without hearing rebuttals. THEIR speech isn't protected because it's full of hate for me and my hobby. Besides, so many people are overweight. How are they overweight if they too aren't also eating babies? I just can't be objective about it without people condemning me, so it's my firm belief that everyone ELSE should change their appalling ways. Shame on you all.
