That's why their stock price started dropping in December. Any bad news about a company causes their stock to drop.

EDIT: If you're suggesting they should have resolved the issue with the loan, it's possible they spent the money already.

Former president Donald Trump said he feared protesters would hit him with tomatoes, pineapples and other “very dangerous” fruit at his campaign rallies, declaring in a sworn deposition that “you can be killed if that happens.”

Trump’s comments about the potentially lethal effects of projectile produce were made public Tuesday with the release of excerpts of 4½ hours of videotaped testimony in a lawsuit filed by a group of protesters who allege that Trump’s security guards assaulted them in 2015.

I wanted to have people be ready because we were put on alert that they were going to do fruit,” Trump said in the October 2021 deposition, according to a transcript of the proceedings.

He added that “tomatoes are bad” and that “some fruit is a lot worse.”

But it’s very dangerous. … I remember that specific event, because everybody was on alert. They were going to hit — they were going to hit hard,” he said.
Someone protect this name from fruit! First cans of soup were weapons, NOW TOMATOES ARE THE GREATEST THREAT TO HIS SAFETY.

Dictor then asked Trump: “Is it your expectation that if your security guards see someone about to throw a tomato that they should knock the crap out of them?”

Trump replied in the affirmative, noting that he expected his security team to use physical force in such cases.

Yeah, I think that they have to be aggressive in stopping that from happening,” Trump said. “Because if that happens, you can be killed if that happens. … To stop somebody from throwing pineapples, tomatoes, bananas, stuff like that, yeah, it’s dangerous stuff.
Pineapples, tomatoes, and bananas oh my!

I'd love it if someone threw a durian and it ruptured on impact, with bits splattering everywhere. On him.

    Accurate depiction of said event.

"Charge him with assault with a deadly weapon!"
    "Where's the weapon?"
    "I'm wearing it dammit!"
"A rotten tomato? Get the fuck out...really? No really, get the fuck out!"

I mean, I'm fairly sure an athletic adult human male can throw a pineapple hard enough to injure someone at point-blank range. From halfway into a crowd offstage? We're wandering into "natural 20" territory. I, personally, do not think it's physically possible for me to injure someone with a banana unless they literally let me shove it down their throat, choking them.

So either Trump is allergic to fruit, and yes by that waistline I'm not ruling that out...or, he's insane.

Gotta worry about all those secret Tom Brady's in the Trump crowd that just haven't been noticed by the NFL yet.

Don't worry, it'll be "deflated" in accordance with the rules and regulations.

I mean the cut stalk could be stiff enough to injure someone’s eye

A full sized pineapple does have a bit if heft to it.

...wait, that's a coconut painted to look...never mind..wasn't there...couldn't stop you even if wanted to.

Well, coconuts are apparently a fruit known as a "drute", so it counts! You could do some damage with that and you can easily get them in nice enough sizes for maximum force behind the throw (pineapples can be a bit odd/bulky with the thorns and stuff). Shame Trump wasn't worried about coconuts, since that would almost be approaching a legitimate concern.

Until you remember he's afraid of someone throwing fruit at him.

PA Republican running for Lt. Governor framing himself as a "family-man" is evicted from his families home after his wife asks for an emergency protection order against him for abuse.

This is the third woman he's been in a relationship with who accused him of abuse in court.

And his wife now has full temporary custody of their child.

At least Bush is athletic enough to dodge something. Trump can barely walk down a slight decline of a ramp.

Exxon Mobil and Chevron on Friday reported a second consecutive quarter of robust earnings as oil and natural gas prices continued to rise. The companies said they were not seeking to ramp up production despite pressure from the Biden administration.

This is laughable material here. First Exxon and Chevron are boasting of their profits, then say "eff you" we are not ramping up production or tapping our lands under lease. I'm sure this news will get to the idiots who keep yelling inflation.

An oh btw, is Biden and Dems also getting shitted on by being so passive against the price gouging and just a couple weeks ago Biden caved and granted more land for drilling. Oh and he did tap into the oil reserves which in a complicated way has will do nothing for prices and mismanagement of those reserves.

Tapping into new wells involves logistical, human and infrastructure investments that would likely cost them hundreds of millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, raising gas prices costs them nothing.

Here is an actual 100% true FOX News headline I legit didn't make up:

Trump joins TRUTH Social: 'I'M BACK! #COVFEFE'

Joins. FOX News used the verb "joins". Not returns. Joins.

Of course, FOX News being FOX News, they also quoted this without further comment:

We’re taking in millions of people, and what we’re finding is that the response on TRUTH is much better than being on Twitter. Twitter has bots and fake accounts, and we are doing everything we can.
Wow. Almost every single word of that is a loophole.

    a) CyberTrump 2077 is "taking in millions" because the 1.5-1.9 million waitlist was finally allowed to move. They'd been sitting there for months.

    b) Twitter has been taking in hundreds of millions.

    c) "the response is better" means nothing. There is no context, no description, no way to validate or contradict it. I might as well tell you which sexual position I bang Graham's wife in.

    d) Yes, Twitter has bots and fake accounts. Hands up all those who think CyberTrump 2077 doesn't?

    e) If a multiple months-long waitlist of 300% their userbase is "we're doing everything we can" then run for the hills.

I should note DWAC is back above $50, yeah, that's the low bar they've set for themselves. Trump gets back on *cough* Trump joins his own network and DWAC gets a 6% bounce. Yippie fucking Skippy.

As a reminder, Trump's total number of words posted, which I will now quote verbatim

Get Ready! Your favorite President will see you soon! I'm back #COVFEFE
Is twelve, of which, 25% were posted today.

Also...does Trump look happy? I honestly tried to Zoom and Enhance Cliche but this work computer isn't giving me any useful resolution. But Trump does not seem happy to me.

We all knew that only Trump could make CyberTrump 2077 a success, and only now is he showing any interest at all in doing so. Everything he's done so far has been a disappointment, too little too late, or an objective failure. It does not bode well for the future of his platform. But his own negligence, his own poor decision making, has left him with two choices, both bad.

    1) "Join" his own social media platform, with few searches/day than "wait, is Graham even married?", and end up with basically him talking to all six people and 1,499,994 bots and nobody else, a concentration of his cult so strong I will call it "huffing the Kool-Aid powder"

    or

    2) Admit he lost, and rejoin Twitter.
2a) If Musk lets him. After all, Trump just admitted he's a competitor. And we all know how Elon Musk views competition. Seriously, Musk spent several dozens of times Trump's total wealth on Twitter. There is now a vested interest in keeping CyberTrump 2077 ground into the dirt, where it belongs.

Yo, why is Madison Cawthorn's male scheduler grabbing his junk? I mean, they're consenting adults and all so that's not a problem for me personally - as long as Cawthorn's wife is cool with it.

But it's sure weird coming from the guy complaining about the "death of masculinity" and telling mothers to raise their sons to be "monsters".
