People have already taken to ebay and are selling thumb drives containing a .jpg file of a Trump trading card NFT for $99, and one buyer has 20 sold already.
The grift is real. Fools and their money are soon parted.

Yeah, Trump was able to sell his dignity for $4.5 million minus the disposal fee.
Trump isn't making appearances in public, he isn't holding rallies, he isn't releasing his finances and he's effecitvely begging on the street corner for cash. There's a lot of evidence that Trump is, well...broke. I keep saying Trump needs to run in 2024 in the desperate hope it blocks the consequences of all that stuff he did. I'm standing by that. But this feels like he's also trying to fleece as many people as possible on his way to losing the Republican Primary and losing 2024.

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner, who is admittedly biased, not only said that Trump could get 25 years, but also that the Mar-a-Lago case could be decided in an hour. He did say the second one was a little bit of hyperbole, so I won't quote that one, but the first?
And that's handwaving insurrection. Obstruction of justice is a big deal."The Department of Justice prides itself on exercising independent prosecutorial discretion but they can't turn a blind eye to a coequal branch of government that has done such an exhaustive investigation when they pass all of that evidence over to [the] DOJ and they recommend criminal investigations and prosecutions," he said.
"It is great that they're talking about obstructing official proceedings, that's a 20-year offense. It's great that they are talking about conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, that's a 5-year offense," Kirschner said Friday.
Naturally, Trump responded with the same carefully chosen, well-crafted words th--
THEY ARE GOING AFTER ME BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY GOING AFTER YOU!

Once again, it's time for Guess the Speaker!
"Clearly yet another Party of Trump member, expressing their mainstream belief that there was election fraud."I’m back!! Thank you elonmusk and by the way MELT DOWN THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES AND TURN THEM INTO PRISON BARS!
Mike Lindell, correct.
-- Kari Lake, in a direct reply that drew thousands of likes because Kari Lake is also mainstream Party of TrumpGreatest Tweet EVER! Welcome back! We missed you.
That’s actually probably the (maliciously) smartest thing trump has said in a while.
Remember, the gop lives off of fear. They need their people to feel afraid. Of gay people, of minorities, of people going to take your guns, of immigrants, of “corporations taking away your first amendment.”
Trying to make Trump’s legal troubles into “the plight of the common man” is a dangerously shrewd move. Hopefully it’s just another spasmodic blurb in his string of nonsense, and not something he actually tries to capitalize on.

Rumor is that Trump is going to be investigated for financial fraud over his NFTs. No source other than random Twitter noise from people who generally don't bullshit on this kind of stuff.

Oh, better yet, someone actively found out that he "minted" around 26% of the rarest ones to himself. As I stated it earlier in the thread, it wouldn't have surprised me if he was the one that bought them to create demand.
Granted, this is from twitter.

Okay, Trump has gone mad. He just quoted the World of Warcraft movie.Republicans and Patriots all over the land must stand strong and united against the Thugs and Scoundrels of the Unselect Committee. It will be a dark period in American history, but with darkness comes light!!!
So at this point, we know where this is going. Everyone from Watergate lawyer John Dean to Trump's own lawyer Ty Cobb are predicting charges filed against Trump personally. Obviously the Jan 6th panel can't do that directly but they can say "we have all this evidence, we're giving it to the DoJ, and we think there's enough to warrant charges". And that's not even including the theft of classified materials, dodging taxes, lying on his fiscal disclosure forms (how the fuck do you forget you owe money to North Korea?) or anything Trump Org related.
Now, the DoJ may or may not actually pursue those charges. From a purely tactical perspective, it would make sense to let Trump do as much damage to the Republican Party as possible, such as by winning the primary or splitting the vote. Then arrest him. But that's playing politics and the DoJ doesn't do that -- even Barr drew the line. If the evidence really is as solid as we've seen, then the DoJ won't wait till mid-2024 to drag Trump off in tiny tiny handcuffs.
So the question seems less "if" but "which". There seems to be a pretty substantial list of things Trump is objectively guilty of. I don't believe the DoJ will flat-out charge him with insurrection or treason. To me, the question is obstruction. Obstruction charges are no laughing matter. They are a "die in prison" level of offense. And you don't have to obstruct charges as deplorable and unAmerican as treason. You can obstruct by refusing to turn over your texts.
Trump, in the tirade I quoted above, suggested
One, Trump thinks people forgot or didn't write down what he tweeted. The internet never forgets. These two very important tweets have been uncovered now that my account, which was shut down by the FBI, has been reinstated!
Second, Trump thinks the Jan 6th committee didn't see what he tweeted. That's just stupid.
And third, Trump thinks his public tweets will somehow be evidence that helps him. That's not what he tried to block, claiming privilege. The evidence is his private communications.
For someone both online and in court this often, Trump seems to have zero idea how either of them work.
