Let’s see there’s.
Roman Polanski
Woody Allen
Mel Gibson
Allegedly more recently Jack Nicholson, Dan Schneider producer from iCarly and Zoey 101
Marilyn Manson to which Rose McGowen apparently knows nothing about.
Asia Argento allegedly with an underage guy.
Not sure I’d call that much progress.
Sure if all things were equal and the law got applied seriously and every victim was believed without condemning the accused without a trial
My point is that’s not happening. Too much bias all around. As far as Nassar or Weinstein or Epstein. I don’t know seems more swept under the rug.
Not saying you’re wrong by your point. Just curious what metric and measurement we’re using.
Progress I don’t know.
The metric I'm using is people are being prosecuted and found guilty, when a few decades ago there would be nothing.nothing in the news. Nothing in the courts. The powerful kept their victims quiet because the powerful were to ya know powerful and went amongst their raping and assaulting unabated.
Edit - the only point your making is the MeToo movement was a complete waste of time that accomplished nothing. You do you.

So, naturally, FOX News is already discussing Trump's appeal in their usual "fair and balanced" way.
He's talking about the "grab them by the pussy" tape. In other words, back in the timeframe in which Trump raped Carroll, the evidence that Trump is the kind of person to rape someone wouldn't have been admitted. As opposed to more recent times, when the person who brags about sexually assaulting women can have the fact that they brag about sexually assaulting women used against them.Trump and his lead attorney, Joseph Tacopina, signaled on Tuesday they are likely to appeal the civil liability ruling in the case brought by E. Jean Carroll, which Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy doubted would succeed.
Trump was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation but not of Carroll's rape claim, which she alleged occurred at the Bergdorf Goodman department store across from Trump Tower in 1996.
Former assistant U.S. attorney Andrew McCarthy told Fox News many or most U.S. jurisdictions expanded the admissibility of "propensity evidence" in cases such as Trump's, which he said can hurt the former president's chances of a successful appeal.
Yeah, FOX News looked around for an expert who is complaining that someone's words and actions can be used in context to point out they're a horrible person. Why would a network that was run by Roger Ailes be so ohhhhhhhhhhh right.
Trump's friendship with Fox News founder Roger Ailes may have been his downfall in E. Jean Carroll trial, says Business Insider.
Back to FOX News. One of the reasons Carroll didn't speak up about the alleged incident in the 1990s, she testified, is because Ailes, her boss at the time, was friends with Trump.
In the early 1990s, Ailes founded and led America's Talking, a cable TV channel that later became MSNBC. Carroll had her own show on America's Talking at the time, called "Ask E. Jean," based on her popular Elle magazine column.
Ailes often filmed his own show, "Straightforward," in the same Fort Lee, New Jersey studio where Carroll filmed hers. The two "ran into each other almost every day," Carroll said on the witness stand. If she spoke up about Trump, Carroll testified, she believed Ailes would fire her.
"I would never report something like this, just for the obvious reasons. Roger Ailes would have fired me. He was friends with Donald Trump," Carroll testified in the trial. "I would have lost my job at Elle. I was frightened of Donald Trump. I thought he would retaliate. I was ashamed. I thought it was my fault."
*ahem*McCarthy said an appeals court will view the jury's verdict against Trump as "discriminating and careful" – "which is to say, they went through the evidence [and] decided not to find him liable for rape, but did find him liable for sexual abuse."
He said Carroll's claims were so far in the past that it would have been difficult to "forensically corroborate" whether Trump's alleged conduct met the stand for such a heinous crime as rape.
He continued, "So normally we have a rule in the law that says we don't want to have somebody get convicted or found liable for the thing they're charged with on the basis of other similar things that they've done in the past. That presumption holds most of the time across the board, but it doesn't apply anymore in sexual assault cases."
That's bullshit.
Trump could have given a DNA test and he didn't. Somehow, he got away with that. It would have been very easy, but Trump got away with murder. Well, rape.

By the way, at time of writing, the CNN town hall is still on.
I like Dave (the movie) to bits, but it sure helped reinforce that cliché.
Trump world booked CNN hoping for a big audience. Now, they're in the thick of it.
Trump says CNN town hall appearance could turn into 'disaster for all, including me,'
"They made me a deal I couldn't refuse!!!"
"Jury finds Trump guilty of sexual assault. Great timing for the CNN Town Hall!" Norman Ornstein, a political scholar, said in a tweet on Tuesday following news of Trump being found liable.
Trump was found liable for sexual assault
Santos will be charged in a federal investigation.
