Sounds like his attorneys are already pissing off the judge again.

He could in theory use the stock as a collateral for a loan but any bank worth its salt wouldn't take the IPO stock of his company as viable asset and that's not even taking into account his past history. It's a SPAC not a regular IPO which basically means the company has tons of skeletons in its closet and Trump can't sell on the open market either since he has a 6 months lock out.

Sadly you'd have to wait for one of those fucking idiots to actually pull the trigger.
Even then "I never said to do that."

LIKE A TODDLER who did not get their way, Trump threw a fit online the day after a New York judge finalized the start date for his criminal hush-money trial.

Judge Juan Merchan on Monday rejected Trump’s efforts to further delay the trial and scheduled jury selection to begin on April 15.

Trump spent Monday bashing everyone involved in the case, including Judge Merchan. He continued his assault on Tuesday, writing on his Truth Social page: “he hates me!” He then dragged Merchan’s daughter into the argument as evidence.

“His daughter is a senior executive at a Super Liberal Democrat firm that works for Adam “Shifty” Schiff, the Democrat National Committee, (Dem)Senate Majority PAC, and even Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump wrote.
Do y'all think going after the family of a judge your case is in front of is a good idea?

At some point Donald is gonna need to be gagged from speaking about the myriad criminal and civil cases against him because he cannot stop himself from painting targets on people for his unhinged, violent mob.

Well it's not like he is going to face any repercussions in your pussy ass "justice" system, so why wouldn't he go after everyone he wants?

Right? I almost can't blame him. If people are going to keep letting him get away with shitting and pissing all over our so-called justice system, why wouldn't he just... do it some more? Why wouldn't he do everything he can to make things easier on himself? We know he's not a decent human being and cares only about himself, so logically it makes sense from that perspective.

Why not? Even if he loses all he has to do is whine and cry ad they'll lessen the charge.

Judge in New York hush money case places limited gag order on Trump

The judge in Donald Trump's criminal hush money case in New York has granted the Manhattan district attorney's request for a limited gag order on the former president.

The order, by Judge Juan Merchan, restricts Trump's public statements about witnesses and others.

Statements made by Trump about witnesses, prosecutors, judges and others tied to his criminal and civil cases "were threatening, inflammatory, denigrating" and represent "a sufficient risk to the administration of justice," Judge Merchan said Tuesday in deciding to impose the partial gag order.

"The consequences of those statements included not only fear on the part of the individual targeted, abut also the assignment of increased security resources to investigate threats and protect the individuals and family members thereof," Merchan said.
The order prevents Trump from making public statements about witnesses in the hush money case, prospective jurors, members of the court staff and their families, and lawyers other than Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The partial gag order follows Trump's disparaging remarks about Merchan and his daughter after the judge set trial for April 15.

"Such inflammatory extrajudicial statements undoubtedly risk impending the orderly administration of this Court," Merchan said, adding "there exists no less restrictive means to prevent such risk."

"Given that the eve of trial is upon us, it is without question that the immanency of the risk of harm is now paramount," the judge said.

Trump last April pleaded not guilty to a 34-count indictment charging him with falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his then-attorney Michael Cohen made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels just days before the 2016 presidential election.

Jury selection for the trial is currently scheduled to get underway April 15 in New York City. The former president has denied all wrongdoing.

And if... and by if, I mean when, Trump breaks the gag order... what's the penalty? "Stern words" don't work against this clod. This judge seems to appreciate that yes Trump did in fact do something wrong, you'd think they'd have the wherewithal to know that they actually have to have some way of backing it up.

Maybe the judges just aren't used to this level of contempt being shown towards them. Like they literally have no idea how to react to it. It's like a crusty dean in a teen sex comedy who can't wrap his head around the rock and roll music, but instead it's the sniveling whining of a fat orange blob man.

Technically, all that was reduced was the amount he needs to put up for appeal. If he loses the appeal, he's still on the hook for the other $300 million or so, and you can bet New York will waste no time seizing his babies to cover it if he doesn't pony up the dough.

UPDATE: It's a good thing Lindell had a fire sale on his business equipment. He stopped paying rent and just got evicted.

Mike Lindell's MyPillow is getting evicted from one of its Minnesota warehouses, the Star Tribune, a local Minnesota newspaper, reported on Tuesday.

"MyPillow has more or less vacated, but we'd like to do this by the book," the landlord's attorney, Sara Filo, said during an eviction court hearing on Tuesday, per Star Tribune.

"At this point, there's a representation that no further payment is going to be made under this lease, so we'd like to go ahead with finding a new tenant," Filo continued.

MyPillow owes First Industrial more than $217,000 in rent and other charges, per court filings seen by the Star Tribune. It is unclear if MyPillow and its staff have fully vacated the premises, but First Industrial's representatives say they have sent at least four eviction notices to MyPillow since September.
Yeah, empty warehouse or not, you pay your rent or you get tossed to the curb and sued.

Cheney trolls Trump over Bible sale, suggests he read verse on adultery

Happy Holy Week, Donald. Instead of selling Bibles, you should probably buy one.

And read it, including Exodus 20:14
Meanwhile, Trump continues to demonstrate he doesn't know what the Bible is.

In a video posted to Truth Social on Tuesday, Trump said he thinks it’s important for every American to have a copy of the Bible in their home.

“It’s my favorite book,” Trump said. “I’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again.”

“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country. And I truly believe that we need to bring them back and have to bring them back fast,” Trump said. “I think it’s one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is going haywire. We’ve lost religion in our country.”

The $60 King James Bible will include lyrics from Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.,” as well as the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance.
This country is based on freedom of religion. It's in the Constitution. Forcing a religion onto a country is the opposite of what this country was all about. Putting the Constitution into a religious text is something I'm going to ask @GreenJesus to explain for the same reason as last time -- he's been active recently, this is a fast-moving thread, and he's proven to regard things Trump says positively. Surely a Trump supporter can explain the reasoning Trump had when putting the Bill of Rights into the Bible, then selling it.

I am honestly just surprised it took him this long to sell that book

Yes, but the point of the law requiring you to put up the bond is to ensure nobody uses appealing as a delay tactic so they can avoid paying out and take more time gathering the money they need to spend. And the court's decision was to just . . . let Trump do that.

Trump whinging about having to sell his "babies" is fuckin' gross. It's property. The only thing anyone's entitled to keep in this situation is a family home. One condo in one building, so you're not literally homeless. Everything else can be stripped from this guy and auctioned off, if need be. If that leaves him nothing but a rich man's condo and no money in any bank accounts, that's how things should work.

That has seemed like the losing bet for years though. So, not betting on that. I'll believe he gets consequences if that ever were to happen, not before.

I'm relatively certain the 'Make America Pray Again' bullshit is just another stupid play on his Make America Great Again, however there's no guarantee of that. It is entirely possible he's talking about turning America into a Christian state. Which, really, is no different than all those countries that practice Sharia Law that conservatives love to froth at the mouth over. So yeah, it's probably just some dumb slogan crap, but if there's even a CHANCE that this is a genuine attempt to force religion onto others in the USA with the power of the government, it's super fucked up.
