Unfortunately for Dems, the Biden admin has fumbled the Gaza football so badly since the attack that it has massively splintered the party on top of crushing the legacy he'd like to project, doubly so if the Ukrainan army collapses and/or the gov't is forced into a settlement in the near future, which is a non-zero possibility given the bleak situation on the ground.

Economic Growth: The U.S. experienced significant economic growth and low unemployment rates pre-COVID-19.

Deregulation: Reduction of regulatory burdens on businesses, which supporters believe encouraged economic expansion and job creation.
Deregulation is a terrible idea that opens up abuses against workers and customers.

Economic growth under Trump, as I already pointed out, was worse than that under Obama or Biden. So that's just a lie.

And the Tax Cuts and Jobs act had end points for all the tax cuts for regular Americans, but not for the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. Anyone thinking it was a win for individual tax rates is an idiot who doesn't understand what the Act does.

    Foreign Policy and National Security:

Middle East Peace Agreements: The Abraham Accords, normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab countries, were seen as a significant diplomatic achievement.

Military Funding: Increased funding for the U.S. military and support for veterans.

ISIS Defeat: Continued efforts leading to the territorial defeat of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

North Korea Diplomacy: Engagement with North Korea, including historic summits with Kim Jong-un, aimed at denuclearization.
Israel's in the middle of one of its largest outbursts of violence in history, so the Abraham Accords clearly didn't do anything.

ISIS is still around. Trump failed.

And North Korea's more belligerent than it has been in ages. Again, just a colossal failure.

    Judicial Appointments:

Supreme Court Justices: Appointment of three Supreme Court justices (Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett), shifting the Court's balance to a more conservative stance.

Federal Judges: Appointment of numerous conservative federal judges, shaping the judiciary for years to come.
These are negatives, because he appointed justices for political reasons, not judicial ones.

    Energy and Environment:

Energy Independence: Policies aimed at increasing domestic energy production, leading to the U.S. becoming a net exporter of energy for the first time in decades.

Withdrawal from the Paris Agreement: Supporters argue this move was beneficial for American economic interests by avoiding regulatory constraints.
    Immigration and Border Security:

Border Security: Emphasis on strengthening border security and building portions of the border wall.
Immigration Enforcement: Increased focus on enforcing existing immigration laws and policies.
Again, these are negatives. Energy "independence" means wasteful and harmful extraction at higher costs in the USA, and a focus on fossil fuels rather than green energy. Withdrawing from the Paris Agreement was just stupid, and Trump's reasons were always objectively false. And Trump's border wall remains a complete fiasco that's done basically nothing.

    Trade Policies:

USMCA: Renegotiation of NAFTA, resulting in the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), aimed at modernizing trade relations in North America.
Trade Stance on China: Efforts to address trade imbalances and intellectual property issues with China.
Trump doesn't even know what tariffs are, dude.

    Healthcare:

Prescription Drug Prices: Initiatives aimed at reducing prescription drug prices, including efforts to increase transparency and competition.
    Did fuck-all. https://www.americanprogress.org/art...help-patients/

    Biden's done more.

    Social Policies:
Support for Religious Freedom: Policies and executive orders aimed at protecting religious freedoms and rights.
Trump and the Republican Party have been pushing Christian Nationalist agendas, which are a direct assault on religious rights and freedoms, not a protection thereof. Anti-abortion legislation, same thing; an attack on people's religious freedoms.

    Just a laughable false claim.

You're definitely making the case that Trump did nothing laudable.

"Proponents argue" means nothing. Trump promised a higher GDP growth and even the tax cut for the rich never delivered. The proponents are wrong.

I really enjoyed the part where his awfully run trade war with China resulted in having to bailout farmers across the US. $28 billion spent because of his incompetence. Then a further $33 billion as the trade war continued, and as covid made it worse. He did a great job...

I might need some of your help. I just can't debate with these super magats anymore with out loosing my mind or resorting to calling them idiots to their face. What am i suppose to tell people who say:

    1. Biden is also a pedo
    2. Trump doesn't support 2025 (or he only supports some of it)
    3. Biden also stole documents
    4. Biden/hillary/Hunter all do this too ... and more. EMAILS!!
    5. A good christian would pick Trump! It is god's will!

Do I just hand wave asking to see the receipts? I know I wont get that. A third of my family has become more and more far right over the last few years. It is coming to a tipping point where I will just shun them. I have no other choice. I have my own kids to think of and I dont want them to be brainwashed by their terrible ideas.

Seriously, can someone develop a App for this? So much shit out there that I can't be bothered to count every damn thing at once. We need to solid place to keep this, like a anti trump cheat sheet. I started making one but there were literally too many things to keep adding to it.

Sometimes it's best to leave those clowns to their own devices as hard as that is to say. My last run in with a cult member resulted in them threatening to punch me in the mouth and then telling me they'd send me home to my wife in a box if I didn't shut up. Apparently this is how they handle being proven wrong nowadays.

It's rough watching people descend into madness but for your own well being it may be easier just to cut the cord. You don't need to stress yourself out because they drank the Kool-Aid even if they are family.

I tried too. At the start of his Presidency I was going to save every unethical/nonPresidential thing he did on my computer so I could show people "See! this is what I'm talking about!!" But like you said, there were too many. Everyday-single-fucking-day!!! He always did something so incredibly stupid that I couldn't keep up! At least with Bush you had a week or two of space in between his shit.

That or give them an ultimatum. "I don't want to argue politics with you so leave it be. If you don't want to show me the same respect I will leave. You will not hear from me. You will not see me."

Most of my family and almost half of my friends on Facebook are "unfollowed" because of crap like this. My family tries to keep the politics to a minimum when I'm around so I try to keep civil in return.

But in the end you need to look out for yourself first. They've chosen their life, don't let their choice ruin yours.

Liberal and not blond. A pretty telling contrast to their usual female hosts.
