I hope ya'll are ready for COVID Act 2; same lead the first time around, but with a brand new supporting cast.

Nothing can be funnier than this. Giuliani doesn't like that he can't pay his bills and that he has to fork shit over.

"Your client is a competent person,” the judge added, noting that Mr. Giuliani was a former U.S. attorney. (He was, however, recently disbarred in New York and Washington, D.C.)

    Mr. Giuliani objected.

You DO realize that pretty much every project Musk has been directly in charge of since literally his college days has been a straight fucking shitshow, right?

He got his big break by being a founder of PayPal, which he was so great at he didn't even make it a year before being forced off the board with a golden parachute.
Elon's idea of getting "active" in Tesla got us the absolute clusterfuck that is the Cyber Truck.
Elon's idea of getting "active" in Twitter effectively gutted the most successful online platform of it's type. He payed way more than what it was worth to get it, and within a year tanked it's value by like 85%, turning it into a nazi infested shithole that is now just another cesspit on the internet which regular people are fleeing en masse.

Elon just needs to shut up, go fuck some robots, and be a useful wallet to the people who's ideas he takes credit for. THOSE people are the ones doing the "serious endeavours".

Because someone will mention it: SpaceX is not run by Elon Musk. SpaceX is run by people who share Elon's passion for space, but who very much know what they're doing. And that includes using Musk as a useful figurehead and fundraiser, and making sure to carefully manage him and his dysfunctional personality (not without trouble). If you want to see what Elon's native genius looks like without a bunch of talented people both managing him and doing the work, look no further than the Vegas Hyperloop: it's a car in a one-way tunnel with colored lights. That's the true scope of Elon Musk's innate technical brilliance and imagination. Everything else is marketing and someone else's work he's never shy about taking credit for. (To be fair, the work is generally funded by money he convinced someone to pay. Often the U.S. taxpayer.)

(And I keep wondering if Starship is going to turn out to be the SpaceX version of the Cybertruck - it's ludicrously ambitious. The Falcon 9 was also ludicrously ambitious, and SpaceX made it work. I don't want to discount the possibility Starship eventually delivers across the board... but neither would I want to count on it delivering across the board.)

With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason."

Welcome to why the media wanted Trump to win so badly

And this time you won't have all these pesky qualified experts with integrity telling people that injecting bleach is not something they should do. Dr. Oz will be on our TV showing us how to inject bleach as per orders from the fuhrer and RFK Jr. telling us the vaccines are part of the Chinese plan to kill us.

Why does Trump think reinstating all the student loans that were forgiven is a good idea?

Is this because they just assume anyone in higher education is going to be on the left, and that's why its "vile" for the loans to be forgiven? Surely there are plenty of people on the right that also had loan forgiveness. How is this going to be sold to the masses? Are they just going to claim it isn't fair to anyone that has already paid off their loans, because that would certainly be the Republican way. You know, they had to "suffer," so why shouldn't everyone else.

And all from a man that is famous for not paying people...

Oooh, I get it! This will be seen as "hurting the right people"! Makes sense now.

As I understand it, that "forgiveness" was on loans that weren't anticipated to be paid back anyway, so the banks basically got free money. Is he going to ask the banks for that money back? Because, good luck with that.

A lot of his donors have companies that profit from those loans, it's also why you are going to see a huge push for school voucher programs. It's all about paying back the donors for their support, plain quid pro quo. Student debt is big business that's not even going into how this benefit companies downstream like payday loans.

No, he would be asking the students to start making loan payments again by reversing the forgiveness.

And the banks keep the taxpayer money that already paid them off? Sounds about right.

I don't know why I didn't think of this, honestly. Should have been obvious it would be about lining the pockets of his friends, which I'm sure will trickle down into more donations to benefit himself.

Student loans have an entire privatized pipeline that services the loan and they have been losing money due to Biden forgiving so much debt. The customer service, collections and fees that result of it generate billions of dollars. This goes beyond just banks even federal loan management are outsourced to private third parties so if you rescind the loan forgiveness those people get that money faucet turned back on even wider.

Student loans are the only type of loans that cannot be forgiven through bankruptcy, that means those companies get lifelong slaves I mean customers with each loan until its paid off.
