Student debt is exempt from bankruptcy and has to be collected, he can in theory reverse only the federal loans that were repacked to as financial instruments. But that's not his goal, by reversing this forgiveness he gives back all these people to these privatized servicing companies that handle it. The point isn't the principal but the interest and fees especially on people who default those are profits that line the pockets of private companies that gave Trump money.

That money was only ever imaginary though, since those that were forgiven were never expected to otherwise be paid. He was doing the industry a favour by effectively having the state underwrite unpaid and unplayable credit.

Putting it all back out there won’t help anyone.

You are missing the part about the fees, penalties and the entire infrastructure that feeds off student debt like fucking vampires. That industry doesn't want the debt to ever get paid, it's modern day slavery.

The CDC notes that this case is the second to have been identified so far through the national surveillance program. While the agency emphasizes that it “continues to closely monitor available data” to keep tabs on the outbreaks, some scientists have been critical of the response, claiming that the US is failing to learn lessons from COVID-19 in the face of another disease with pandemic potential.
All the samples so far including a case in Canada show that disturbing mutations, scientist fear we may be looking at the next pandemic. Good thing we have qualified people in the coming administration that will treat that threat carefully /s

Proponents of raw milk will say the e-coli and bird flu will kill each other off.
    Problem solved.
That it also kills the person who believed drinking raw milk will save them?

Unfortunately now that it has jumped to humans it won't matter if you consume raw milk or not, the virus is in the wild now mutating. The Rubicon will be when it merges alongside regular flu we aren't sure what it will become then but it's obviously able to jump from human to human now.

No mention of how FDA and CDC completely destroyed their credibility (and continues to destroy) over COVID. Cool.

BTW more people in the US died from COVID during Biden’s first year than Trump’s last and Biden had a vaccine. But Orange man bad, sure.

You said rape victims should "just get over it" the last time you chimed in.

Trump and RFK Jr spread mountains of misinformation, and that's the people you believe.

It would seem you really aren't good at determining right from wrong.

Only among people who never gave them any credibility in the first place.

Yeah, you're either being intentionally disingenuous or you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. This is only the case because of the timing of the vaccine first becoming available in December 2020; deaths peaked around February 2021 and dropped off sharply thereafter. Has fuck all to do with who was in charge.

But also, if the point you're trying to make is "I don't think the FDA and CDC perfectly handled the last pandemic, so let's gut them ahead of the next one"? You can just fuck alllll the way off.

It's insane to me that regular Americans looked to billionaires and said, "Yes, they have our best interests in mind and will 'save' us." this past November.

The biggest downside of this election is the non-insignificant amount of Damage Musk's main character syndrome is going to do to our federal government. Sure feels great and not at all blood boiling when maladjusted dipshits who's money only allows them to fail upwards bumblefuck their way into untold amounts of political and financial power and make their deranged personal greivences everyone else's problem. Super cool system we have.

Went to a work event recently. And all the speakers were talking about the state of the UK economy - but completely skipped out on everything Labour is doing for infrastructure, healthcare, education.

All they focused on was, ‘you guys are gonna have to pay more towards national insurance on behalf of your employees!’

Because large businesses contributing towards the healthcare system is such a bad thing.

One of the reasons I cut Trump some slack on COVID is because he hasn’t actively malicious like DeSantis or Abbott. Both of those guys are still in office and are still actively trying to kill people with COVID.

Since you are lying let me restate what happened because I don't have the memory of a gold fish. Trump cut the budget of the FDA And CDC, he fired the pandemic response team that was monitoring this place called Wuhan you may have heard of it because he said " I can always hire them back but I saved so much money". He spend months denying COVID was in the wild in the US, he constantly spread misinformation. There was no coordination between the federal government and states and his misinformation gave way to states like Florida who went for herd immunity.

The only credit he gets is for the fast track of the vaccine but he was so far down the anti vaxx rabbit hole that he undermined even that. So yes Orange man bad because he is responsible for how badly COVID fucked this country and the people that died. There were plenty of example world wide of how competent governments handle the crisis. Thanks to him states have laws against basic health safety standards when another pandemic hits, he will have blood on his hands for generations.

So like why are people like this allowed to lie with impunity

Covid would have not only been less devastating with a dem in office, but we also would have been better off with another republican. Swap Trump out for Kasich and fewer people would have died and the economic trouble would have been less.

This isn't really a red vs blue problem. It's sane people vs crazy conspiracy theorists. For at least a few years we're going to have wackos and billionaires running the show. There's going to be some serious consequences.
