    And to expand - https://news.gallup.com/poll/1660/immigration.aspx

51:47 opposition to deporting all undocumented migrants, that's majority support for NOT doing that per the last poll in Jun of 2024.

70:30 huge majority favorability to allowing undocumented immigrants the chance to become US citizens via a pathway to citizenship.

So not only are you lying about your concern for undocumented migrants, but you're lying about the political appetite.

Ok, Dems should push for blanket amnesty next cycle - see how bad they lose.

Create a Democratic Party thread then, if you are still "concerned".

The GOP already assume that’s the case and run on it. Unfortunately you can apparently win elections even if only 30% polled are against amnesty.

Bird Flu. Flocks all over the US are being culled to prevent the spread of bird flu.

It has been detected in dairy cattle also. Expect the price of milk to go up. For about 2 weeks, we were unable to get the organic milk brand that we usually get. When they finally got it back in the store, it was $9+ for a gallon jug.

They found infected cattle at more than 700 of California’s dairies. But when it comes to non-dairy cattle, zero have tested positive in California.

    From late last year.

Bird flu has been found in a pig for the first time in the U.S.

Seems like it is a bad time to leave the WHO.
Good thing we are going to have RFK jr. on the job to keep us safe...

The vast majority of Americans cannot afford and extra $500 expense, credit card and car debt are at an all time high.

This is offset by the tax cuts coming later this year as well as cheaper energy.
The 4 trillion dollar tax cuts will go to corporations and the rich just like his previous 2 trillion dollar tax cut on his first term.

I mean that's if RFK jr. doesn't bring back measles and other diseases back on top of everything due to his anti vaxx policies.

That's a dodge. Which isn't surprising, but it's clear you're not interested in actual discussion.

It would be nice to have open, honest discussions on these topics, but when charlatans like yourself won't engage with the topic and pull this kind of chicanery, discussion's not really possible. Which is why you do it. We know this. You know this. But you'd rather waste time, because you have nothing of value to contribute in the first place.

No need for name calling. Try to keep things civil.

As far as migrant workers...they have long been exploited as an underclass that was underpaid and received little to no benefits, yet still had to pay taxes. Ethically, I am ok ripping the band-aid off and paying a bit more if it means we are no longer exploiting millions of people.
    You keep lying.

It's the same lie you told in 2016.

A not-insignificant number of Americans are poor enough that they worry about the possibility of a one-time $400 hospital bill.

From what we're seeing, the near-entirety of tax cuts that are being pushed are for people and businesses that are already rich enough to never have to worry about money, which we have over 60 years of evidence at this point does. not. trickle. down. It never has, and it never will unless they're basically forced to (at which point they cry and bribe the government until changes are made because they're the ones suffering).

And cheaper energy? After the oilogarchs have gone on record saying that making the moves Donold is promising would A) cut into their profits, which they're not going to do and B) have significant upfront costs, which would be passed onto the consumers?

So with that in mind, the fuck do you think the average American is going to comfortably pull $2000/yr from?

Never voted for Trump but you sure are making me want to vote for Vance in 2028.

Nope, not made up. You have defended everything Trump called for. I even provided your quotes, dating back years.

So, don't whine that I caught you lying.

WOuld you like me to provide it all, again? The last 3 times I did, you just ran away and hid.

I have no desire to be "civil" to people who lie to me. You get back what you give out. When right-wingers start being "civil", they can start complaining about the lack of civility in the responses they receive.

And this goes double for the content of their messages, not just the tone.

He's not wrong though. Democrats promise it every time they're in power and it never happens.
Yet another dodge. And a lie, at that. Biden sent a bill that at least approached a blanket amnesty on day 1 of his Presidency; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._C...ip_Act_of_2021

It faced significant enough opposition from Republicans that it couldn't get passed.

This is why you don't get civil responses. Because you're a liar, telling lies, right to people's faces. That's not "civil". If you can't be civil yourself, you've got no fucking business calling for others to treat you nicely.
