California alone is nearly 20% of the USA GDP lol.

    It's actually about 14%

    https://www.ppic.org/publication/californias-economy/

In 2023, California’s gross domestic product (GDP) was about $3.9 trillion, comprising 14% of national GDP ($27.7 trillion). Texas and New York are the next largest state economies, at 9% and 8%, respectively.

That would put the States just under China in GDP and just above the EU. Fun times to be had then. Also why stop there, let's get New England to Canada as well, let's see how Texas is gonna keep the rest afloat.

Oh, no! If only someone had told him the man who had multiple felony convictions and swore revenge on the law enforcement and judiciary doing their jobs, and who said he'd slash federal employment, would you know the drill at this point. I wonder how quickly he'll grow a second face the leopard can eat.

I'm thoroughly enjoying everything Trump is doing right now and there really are two main reasons.

1-If we do get to vote again in free and fair elections, the GOP is politically dead. They've only ever won elections by the skin of their teeth and in recent years, have really only had house majorities by slim numbers with the exception of times when a black man was President. The harm that Trump is causing right now is going to cause a significant number of people to "wake up" and see the GOP for what it is. Now, before someone quotes me and pulls the "there will always be support for him" bullshit, I know. But he can't run a country with 20-30% of the base w/ nutjobs. Last time the "GOP" woke up from him, Biden beat him out. 2026 is going to be an absolute bloodbath for the GOP in the House and Senate and pave the way for yet another bloodbath in 2028. FFS, we will be able to literally prop up Jimmy Carter's bones for re-election in 2028 and win in a landslide.

2-If we don't get to vote again in free and fair elections, for the rest of my life I get to sit here and dunk on these Conservative idiots all over Reddit and Twitter and Facebook. I will sit here with the "I told you so" all day long. I take joy in seeing every federal worker who voted Trump crying about "muh paycheck" after they lose their jobs and just dunk on them like I'm Vince Fucking Carter.

And if it is #2, and Trump becomes a dictator and starts purging anti-Trump, anti-Conservatives, then awesome, sign me up for that purge! I'm a millennial and I've been joking about how I can't wait to die all my life, lmao. Hell has been Earth the whole time.

For funsy, here are some of the latest winners of the FAFO awards.

It wouldn't stop at those three, though. If those three move, we could expect basically every other blue state to go too. No reliable blue state is going to want to stay in a hypothetical US that's eternally Republican.

Would be pretty hilarious to watch the remains of the US fall apart once the blue state subsidies stopped propping up the red ones, though.

Happy to watch conservatives suffer for their own choices. You voted to be a bigot, so smile you get to suffer with the ones you wanted to harm as well.

At this point the leopards are so fat it's basically animal abuse.

Shame DOGE probably cut that part of the government too.

Honestly, as much empathy one can have, it's their own fault for their current situation. They are the ones that choose to play Russian Roulette with a full loaded revolver and tried to win.

2026 is going to be a bloodbath for the GOP.

Remains to be seen how short their memories are past that point.

This isn't a failure for trusting Trump. This is the entire Republican Party. At best, they're passively compliant, but most are full-throated in support of everything that's happening.

If they weren't, they could impeach and remove Trump in like two days. It wouldn't even be hard, if they get even a quarter of Republicans backing it, because the Dems would almost certainly go along, unless they've all gone full accelerationist.

This is a correctable problem. And there's zero interest among Republicans in correcting it. This isn't a case where Trump can get voted out in 2028 and we're back to normal; this is the new normal.

Because the GOP is gone as a party. They permited the cancer to spread and now there is only cancer. Without the cult, there is no chance in cold ice void hell of many to reelect.

After all, people didn't voted for the Republicans, they either voted because of the senile old reality show conman or just in spite of the Democrats.

    TRUMP TAKE EGG

Kids that dont remember 2020, reminder: Kevin Hassett’s COVID model, which he was in no way qualified to create, predicted that American COVID deaths would be at ~zero by May 2020. He's a conservative welfare hire from AEI.

Kevin Hassett on Trump's avian flu plan: "What we need to do is have better ways w/ bio-security & medication & so on to make sure that the perimeter doesn't have to kill the chickens. To have a better, smarter, perimeter...they're killing chickens to stop the spread, but chickens don't really fly"

It's good to see Trump voters already feeling the pain. They won't get it until they're on the receiving end of the boot.

Some people only learn after putting their hand on a hot stove, no matter how many times you warn them.

It's crazy to me. I had to put my hand on the hot stove once to learn to never do it again. I voted for Bush in 2004 just like a shitload of people. I voted for Obama in 2008 because things were so bad and my decision to never vote Republican again was cemented in the early 2010s when my union was busted by a Republican piece of shit. The end result was I got fired in the midst of a recession all so my boss could give his friend a job.

I'm in a very different place now. I have to file my taxes but it will be my second or third year eclipsing 6 figures. I've got multiple sources of income that just continue to grow. Even if there is a big economic setback and I lose my primary income, I will be fine for a while.

And with that said, despite the fact I'm no longer "poor"...

Republicans will never ever get my vote again.

Most GOP voters also won't care until things start actually burning down. Right now people are warning them of the fire risk and the general response has been 'lmao you're just mad' because they havn't actively started immolating.
