You don't have to wait that long. It will impact recovery from last year hurricanes which has not even started yet.

Horrifying though it may be to contemplate that Russia is actually pulling the strings of the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth, there's some comfort to thinking that there's some sort of logic to the chaos.

But the truth is Trump isn't a Manchurian candidate. There is no conspiracy, no plan. Sometimes, the truth is just that the people in charge are absolutely completely fucking stupid and are destroying everything for no reason other than spite, petulance, and being at the extreme end of the Dunning-Kruger scale.

The softest, doughiest VP ever, supported by a south african pedo guy who will weaponize his social media platform to suppress Freeze Peach.

Trump is the "We have a Manchurian candidate at home" version.

So a south african pedo guy and his family are using the Presidents plane.

    Without the "official" President.

    Just Elon.

Momma Mayne, who would like the poors to stop having fun and would like them to instead have more children because she's worried about having enough servants for the rich.

And whatever child Elon remembered he had on any given day.

Republicans, are you tired of winning and respecting the office, yet?

Arab and Muslim voters helped deliver Michigan to Trump. They're not all happy so far

    Why are they acting surprised?

"He didn't say anything like that before," Duhaini said. "When he came to Dearborn, to the community, he said that he would strive for peace and justice for the whole region."

    And you freaking believed him?

American voters have made it pretty consistently clear they do not pay much attention at all, struggle with remembering recent history, and are generally extremely ignorant and gullible.

If it wasn't so easy to weaponize, I'd be in favor of some basic poll testing for voting because holy fuck.

    Sure trump meant peace.

“Peace for the Israelis, because there won’t be any more Palestinians” is what he meant.

There needs to be a “…and you believed him?!” Communicated en masse to the American people. And I don’t just mean economic hardships, I mean in a “we’re shaming you for your decision because we all have to suffer for it.”

Karoline Leavitt says Corey Comperatore, who is dead, will be at Trump's speech tonight
Apparently Donald can raise the dead. Or they taxidermized him and they'll bring in the body, weirdly.

Or everyone in his administration, including him, is an unqualified "DEI" hire.

Still weird how silent the "anti-DEI hire" crowd has been in the face of the nonstop hiring of unqualified individuals instead of "the best of the best, sir. with honors."

I think it is well established that "DEI" to Republicans means anyone who isn't white, regardless of qualifications. The Trump administration has determined a person's qualifications are based on social media followers, or how much Trump wants to fuck them.

It's alarming how much those two overlap.

"Contrary to what we were saying before," OPM says, "we've decided not to fire all those probationary employees after all."

Pretty sure this has to do with every agency telling them this was a bad idea, plus all the lawsuits.

Anyway, lets put some bets on who gets to be the Designated Survivor during the State of the Union address. I'll put my money on Putin or Musk. And no, it doesn't actually have to be anyone in the line of succession or even a natural born citizen. It just has to be someone that normally wouldn't attend the address.

They'll re-agree to the already agreed upon USMCA terms, you know, the deal Donald negotiated last time and has been violating left and right, and Donald and Republicans will call it the biggest trade win in the history of the planet.

Best part is, they are actually....gasp.....following the law with allowing the Departments to decide who to fire. The NSF already has hired back all the people that were fired by OPM.

I've said it earlier in the thread. Trump could literally get everything he wants seeing as Congress would pretty much do whatever he wants seeing as he literally has a very agreeable Congress. And yet decides to just do his own thing. That is what makes what is going on so idiotic.

the dumbest part is that every time the courts say they can't do something their response is

"well we were never doing it to begin with" and lordy be too many republicans are far too comfortable with baldface lies

"I've decided not to do that immoral, unethical, illegal thing" is not a cause for celebration. They should still be called out for trying and also mocked for wasting everyone's time, including theirs.

Better yet, they're setting a pattern of bully-like behavior: do something aggressively wrong, but then curl up like boiled shrimp the second anyone opposes them. Literally every state and agency should sue every change they make from now on. They'll fold, they've demonstrated that.
