His speech was so long, Adrien Brody play him off...

Seriously though, how much longer do you think it will be before orange t starts to go after the late night talk shows. Hes got it out bad for Kimmel. I am thinking within a year he will try and shut them all down, citing free speech or some garbage.
So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.

I dont get this entitlement to be honest.

Voting is not only a right, its a responsibility. Act like fucking adults. Especially in the USA with a binary choice its simple. If you do not support A you support B. Standing on the sidelines and complaining is more akin to the behavior of edgy teenagers.

And yes, the responsibility also includes to inform oneself. Democracy is work, and it will not be catered to you.

After initially supporting trumps tariffs, the president of the Kentucky distillery association is now whining about the 'unjust and disproportionate' response by Canada.

Hey, if Canada doesn't want to buy your slop anymore you can take it up with Trump. You can't force people to buy your products if they don't want to.

Month before: "YES! Now people will buy our products only!"

Month later: "What? People aren't buying our products?!? I thought tariffs forced them!!!"

You really don't want them to stroke out during this term. That would just hand their seats to bright-eyed young cultists for the next half-century.

Some of the cult people were demonstrably dishonest ratfuckers long before Trump even dipped a toe in politics. They will remain dishonest ratfuckers, only with seats on the SCOTUS.

It still decreases the chances of a permanent, automatic bias for one side. It also increases the chances of more consistent turnover, rather than sometimes waiting 10+ years between open seats.

Should probably post in the Russia thread but...

Trump to revoke legal status for 240,000 Ukrainians as US steps up deportations

At this point, all I have left in me is to sigh.

The rest of five eyes as well as Israel and the Saudis are reconsidering intelligence sharing with the US to protect assets.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...-us-rcna194420

They know Trump will send it to his boss and no doubt Israel and the Saudis are worried it will end up with Iran after that.

The entire whining and whinging about the economy completely vanished on the 6th of November. Paying 5 dollars for a dozen eggs has went from "How will I feed my kids?" to "It's patriotic to pay 12 dollars for eggs, also if you want Medicaid or food stamps go get a job...and the minimum wage stays at 7.5, and those damn kids should get jobs if they want eggs for breakfast!"

Harris could have promised free houses to everyone, 1000 monthly government checks, 20% tax cuts, free healthcare and 428794592564 other things the people who either refused to vote or voted for Trump still wouldn't have voted for the Dems.

It was all 100% aesthetics. America likes the "vibe" of MAGA, the slogans, the big flags, the hats, the bigotry, the lynch mob mentality and or dislikes the "vibe" of the status quo + average competency. That's how Trump made such inroads with the very communities he spent the last 8+ years shitting on, you know like the Muslims who forgot about the Muslim ban and the promises of nuking the Middle East, or the Latinos who convinced themselves that THEY are "some of them are good people" and they won't be negatively affected, and the LGB no Q or T gays who blow up Grindr at every conservative rally etc. It was all about sloganeering and punching down.

Trump already burned Israeli intelligence during his first term. There is no way Israel isn't already holding back sensitive intelligence from the US.

You stopped hearing about it because you heard it from conservative sources. And for them it is indeed bullshit.

But the actual (small) group of undecided voters who do have a big impact on elections are not on the internet yelling about it. They don't talk about politics in general because they don't give a shit. If they did they wouldn't be undecided voters in this day and age.
But they absolutely vote with their wallet when they get into the booth.

That's so interesting, that you would post this result without actually showing the poll it came from. Especially since we did have a poll that (a) was people who saw the address, not Americans overall, and (b) even it didn't say it was 86%.

Surely such a result exists, and you, as a good-faith genuine honest poster, simply forgot to link it. You know what, I have an idea.

First of all, it's not a cult, it's a religion.

Actual Trump supporters are saying he is God, even here, on your forums. So it's a religion now. Trump support is a religion.

Second of all, have you seen the poll where 86% of all Americans approved of Trump's speech? Perhaps you missed this post in this fast-moving thread, but you clearly take this topic seriously. 86% of Americans seems high to me, in fact I would call it unbelievable, and Aphelios did not cite anything remotely like a source. Maybe you saw it? Surely this good-faith, genuine poster merely forgot to mention it. Have you seen one? Have you seen anything close? I mean, he must be a good-faith genuine honest poster, as shown by those quoted posts just now, right?

So of course the poll must exist. It must. He's a genuine, good-faith honest poster, after all. He wouldn't, you know, intentionally post something ridiculously false with the sole intent to draw responses, goodnees gracious harumph harumph no!

So the poll must exist. Let's see it.

    Those are different people.

The, like, 5% of people who voted for Trump because they blamed Biden and Democrats for the economy but otherwise wouldn't have voted for Trump are not the same people who are saying those things. Those quotes are coming from the 30-40% who are too neck-deep in the cult to have a rational thought.

I have to ask, what are the chances that people in the US would ever again protest on a scale similar to how they did against the Vietnam war? Cause imo you should be on the streets.

I think the protests will be localized. Trump can't run again, but Senators and Reps do. Already they're feeling the blowback to the point of abandoning town halls in exchange for moderated Zoom calls.
