Fuhrer Trump is now calling the media that report negatively on him as "Illegal". He literally said he wants to put them in prison.

“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart

He has been saying that for decades. He even wanted the law changed so he could sue based on that.

In a repeat of his first go around with this but this time it will be bigger and worse than before, travel bans have come back into play. Instead of a handful of countries, it is pretty much mostly south american, central american and african countries. There are some Asian or SE Asian countries and ME countries.

Officials familiar with the matter told The New York Times the administration has a list of recommendations for proposed travel bans that classifies countries into one of three colors: red, orange and yellow.
Residents of countries with a red designation would receive a flat travel ban to the United States, according to the report. That list contains 11 countries: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.
Countries with an orange tag would see their visas "sharply restricted," though not cut off entirely. People traveling on immigrant or tourist visas would be barred, but business travelers would not, and these citizens would have to face in-person interviews to receive a visa. This includes 10 proposed countries: Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Turkmenistan.
The yellow tier includes 22 countries. These countries would be given about two months to address perceived deficiencies, such as failing to share with the United States information about its travelers according to the report. If they do not, they'd be moved to the orange or red tier.
The yellow list includes: Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe.

Look, if it is for people vandalizing the dealerships, local police will have it covered along with local sheriffs.
However, this is probably the best prank I have heard of in a long while. Yes, it is vandalism at its core but it is still a prank.

New local reporting by League City, Texas' KPRC-TV has uncovered an unusual heist in which thieves pilfered 44 tires from 11 unsold Teslas sitting in an Amazon warehouse parking lot over Valentine's day weekend. At least two tire lifts were attempted, though only one of them was successful.
I mean, obviously. You don't need to be the top federal lawyer to know that. But she suggested it was some kind of federal crime to touch a Tesla, specifically a Tesla. I'm curious what crime that might be. It's been a while since I never went to law school, but I'm fairly sure federal crimes don't include privately-owned dealerships.

The only way it would ever go into federal crime level is if they can show it was a national gang of hooligans going around specifically terrorizing Tesla dealerships as it would involve interstate stuff. Otherwise, no federal crime has been committed.
Unless they are trying to say Tesla dealerships are now considered federal property on federal land which means that they just usurped land from a LOT of states.
12 rushed to hospital as emergency landing plane catches fire-
"You can't keep blaming Trump for plane crashes!"
I absolutely can. If Trump wants to make the FAA political, he gets to be blamed for every accident his FAA could possibly have stopped. Hey, at least this time, Trump's FAA didn't kill anyone.

I mean, you say that, and I'd normally say you were correct. But there's that Bondi statement. Are you saying you're more skilled at law than Trump's top federal lawyer? And also, how do you feel about leading the witness?

I mean, they have this big issue with the court system at the moment where they are complaining that anything the judges do is unconstitutional but to find someone guilty of something requires going in front of a judge. And any lawyer would be able to get this bumped down to a state level charge because I only know of a handful of federal judges that would even consider judging this case as their jurisdiction.
If this were SpaceX, that could actively be argued since they contract out to NASA and NASA does use their rockets. Otherwise, sorry Dumb Bondi, no lawsuit for you.
"Where is this he's talking about?"“AT THIS VERY MOMENT, THOUSANDS OF UKRAINIAN TROOPS ARE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED BY THE RUSSIAN MILITARY, AND IN A VERY BAD AND VULNERABLE POSITION.
I have strongly requested to President Putin that their lives be spared.
Oh, he's lying. Actually, Putin is lying, Trump is just echoing it. As the NYTimes reports, this claim is disputed by pretty much everyone who isn't Putin or Trump. Ukraine isn't exactly blitzing into Moscow, but their forces are not "completely surrounded".
It seems like an odd lie to tell, because of course Ukraine knows the truth. Quite frankly, so do most countries. The only people that have proven willing to believe this are the ones that believe Trump about everything else, including blatant obvious falsehoods like "egg prices are down, by the way, has anyone in the EU got any spare eggs please?"

Trump tries something new: admitting he was lying on purpose.
-Trump, May 2023They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.
-Trump, during the debatesThat is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president. If I win, when I’m president-elect, and what I’ll do is I’ll speak to one, I’ll speak to the other. I’ll get them together.
-Trump, todayWell, I was being a little bit sarcastic when I said that. What I really mean is I’d like to get it settled and, I’ll, I think, I think I’ll be successful.
"I'm not breaking a campaign promise. I was just being sarcastic when I made it."
It's a bold move, Cotton. It sure will be fun quoting Trump supporters as saying "Trump lied to America and he did it on purpose". I wonder what else that would work on? "Your Honor, when I said I would pay my taxes, I was being sarcastic."
This is what I mean when you said you guys are too obsessed with the legal details. "That is illegal!" "This isn't illegal and can't be punished!"
We've already had Palestinian protestors thrown in jail without charges being issued, and one is being deported and having his legal residency revoked. Nobody is stopping Trump from doing things that aren't legal for him to do. Nobody is holding him accountable. Sure, a judge may declare certain actions illegal or unconstitutional, but have you heard ANY follow up to those rulings? Doubt it, since it's the executive that has to implement/follow those rulings.
The rule of law is gone as we once knew it. If you're not forming local communities to help rely on each other in the impending national crisis, you'll be left alone in the rain of injustice.
“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”
Diary of Anne Frank

Thing to differentiate between what is going on at the Tesla dealerships and the protesters is the Tesla dealerships are actively being vandalized. That is a crime the last time I checked. Whether federal or state level charges are put out there, that is what is being discussed. However, those who are doing it are actively committing a crime and would be charged as such.
The protesters have committed no such crime and is a far worse issue and should be a bigger outrage than a bunch of Tesla dealerships being vandalized and those who vandalize them going to jail for committing said crime.
