While there is a more than decent chance Dems take the house in the midterms (which is enough for impeachement), getting to 67 dem senators to actually trial (yes, it's a trial) and remove Trump in the senate is near impossible in 2026. Especially if senators like Fetterman keep cosplaying Manchin.

While Trump most likely will not be impeached and has immunity everyone else around him do not. I mean technically Elon Musk is just an "advisor" and a regular citizen, if democrats grow some balls they can basically bury him and everyone around Trump with investigations and charges. The DOJ won't do anything but the scandals would be *chef kiss* not to mention on the record for any state or future federal prosecutor to go after.

So in lieu of talking about literally anything else, you're just popping in every so often to talk about how Dems are unpopular? No opinions about ICE agents detaining and allegedly 'viciously interrogating' people? Nothing about a Greencard holding national being threatened with deportation because he dared exercise his free speech? I mean, yeah it kinda shows a lot when the Democratic party is showing a lot of unfavorability in the face of all this; but I think the difference in popularity polls right now are more a condemnation of inaction on the part of the Democratic party to deal with the bullshit happening above. So I'll give you any sort of credit for being right on that, even if you're probably one of those people who assume their unavailability is because they're too 'woke' or whatever dumbass nonsense you've been spoonfed.

I still think the lack of proper moderation here for such bad faith posters is a problem.When it comes blatantly obvious they are lying and posting in bad faith, the moderation's job is to step in and address it. But here it can go on for literally years without actually holding them accountable.

I mean give them a flag they can't remove labeling them as a bad faith poster and give options to at least ACTUALLY ignore them from it without requiring on addons to do it. We need better than twitter level moderation....

Yeah, but when you have posters who not just cross that line, they full on shit on it with a smile, there should be an actual punishment for that.

I remember "HealingRain" back in the day who just had fun posting a single post to incite stuff and then loved reading the replies and when he got called out one time how one of his posts was low effort he actually responded by how many responses it actually got to prove it wasn't.

When you have people who repeatedly and knowingly lie over and over again, that isn't being stupid, that is intentional.

Yes, and you need an addon to actually put them on an ignore that works but even that is half broke.

If they create a bait thread it will ignore that even if it goes for 100 pages and actually turned into something productive. But if they stretch out a thread for 15 pages of trash, it still shows up on your feed with everyone post of them shown with basically a censor covering it while every reply to them keeps going.

I mean just deal with them or at the very least force them to have a title under their avatar labeling them as a habitual bad faith poster so people don't feel the need to refute them constantly as everyone who is there, even the new people, will have that label to read. I mean are the moderators intentionally leaving them untouched just to drive engagement or something?

Edit: Or maybe an option to view their previous names as well so they can't just switch names to try and dodge their reputations unless someone does their homework to track down who that new guy really is.

1) What are the odds of our next election being legitimate given all the stuff they are doing to ensure it isn't?
2) If it is legitimate and they lose, will they try another January 6th to prevent it and will it work this time?
3) Assuming both 1 and 2 are false and they lose, what are the odds of them going on vacation to Russia or China or somewhere similar before the Inauguration?

Edit: Honestly, I could see them losing but making sure to set so many metaphorical landmines on their way out as they leave to ensure the nation can't function after they have left while giving all our secrets to out enemies to use against us.

On their way out, find out every computer system is wiped with all the hard copies either destroyed or littered with so many false copies that they can't be reconstructed while all our systems blueprints, specs and even access codes all end up in Putin's hands as well as a few others as they leave billionaires to those nations.
