Meanwhile, driven in part by a pessimistic shift among Democrats since Trump’s election, just 18% of voters rate the economy as “excellent” or “good” — not as low as the poorest economic marks during the Biden administration, according to CNBC polling from 2022, but within a handful of points and as low as that mark has been in NBC News polling since 2014. Majorities of voters disapprove of Trump’s early job performance on the economy (54% disapprove, 44% approve) and how he’s handling inflation and the cost of living (55% disapprove, 42% approve).

Wow. "The economy" is supposed to be a Republican high point. Trump has a literal majority against his handling of the economy. Imagine how bad he must be doing in other ways, such as "handling the Ukraine war" or "being a decent human being".

"Start"? They've been doing so for a bit now. This is another instance.

Disagree with the regime and they will find a pretense by which to inflict harm on you.

None of this "they were pro-Hamas" has actually been about Hamas. It's entirely been that they were anti-genocide. If you opposed the Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, the Trump regime wishes that to be understood as somehow being "pro-Hamas". Because the regime is pro-genocide.

Realistically there isn't the money there is what you don't get. Wages haven't kept pace with inflation which pushes food prices down as we have seen with eggs people just don't buy them if they get to expensive.

Trump says no exemptions on steel, aluminum tariffs; more are coming

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One late Sunday, Trump said the 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imported into the U.S. that went into effect last week are here to stay. He added that reciprocal and sectorial tariffs will kick in on April 2, which he called a "liberating day."

"They charge us, and we charge them," Trump said, referring to the reciprocal tariffs. "Then, in addition to that, on autos, on steel, on aluminum, we're going to have some additional tariffs."
    "Liberating in what regard?"

People will be freed from their money.

"Does Trump realize he's the one that started this by setting the tariffs in the first place? He sure sounds angry that countries he put tariffs on are responding in kind."

It's hard to tell. The man is both senile and retarded.

Also, Trump specifically and directly signed an Executive Order lowering the minimum wage of federal workers.

The order, among a raft of documents Trump signed Friday repealing mandates issued by former President Joe Biden, significantly reduces the $17.75 hourly minimum for federal contract workers, which became effective in January. Biden's order initially required hourly waves of at least $15, with automatic increases.

For contracts entered into before that order took effect on January 30, 2022, contractors will have to pay employees at least $13.30 an hour under an Obama-era executive order. Other contractors will only be required to pay the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour or applicable state minimums of up to $17.50 an hour.

More Americans than ever before are tapping in to their 401(k) funds to cover money emergencies - another warning sign that the economy is struggling and a recession looms.

Nearly five percent of retirement account holders made early withdrawals last year for expenses like medical bills or avoid foreclosure on their home, according to Vanguard Group.

That’s a record high, up from 3.6 percent in 2023.

Before the pandemic, just two percent of 401(K) holders would withdrew funds before the typical access age of 59 and a half.

The sharp increase suggests more households are feeling financial strain.

Last month, Rasha Alawieh traveled to Beirut, Lebanon, to attend the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah— a brutal terrorist who led Hezbollah, responsible for killing hundreds of Americans over a four-decade terror spree. Alawieh openly admitted to this to CBP officers, as well as her support of Nasrallah.

A visa is a privilege not a right—glorifying and supporting terrorists who kill Americans is grounds for visa issuance to be denied. This is commonsense security.
Not sure that is a thought crime. She admitted her support for him. She said religiously not politically, but she still supports him.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2025/0...rtation-026038

“So I have a lot of Whatsapp groups with families and friends who send them. So I am a Shia Muslim and he is a religious figure. He has a lot of teachings and he is highly regarded in the Shia community,” Alawieh said, according to the transcript filed in court Monday.

“I think if you listen to one of his sermons you would know what I mean. He is a religious, spiritual person, as I said, he has very high value. His teachings are about spirituality and morality,” she added about the sheikh, who was killed last September in an Israeli airstrike on his bunker in the Beirut suburbs.

Asked if she supported Nasrallah “in any way,” Alawieh initially denied doing so but later appeared to acknowledge that she supported and admired him “from a religious perspective.”

    @Roneth

My biggest problem has nothing to do with The Hill, it has to do with the fact that it is coming from an administration that tells lies even easier than breathing and who’s leader told over 30,000 lies last time in office and even tried to cook the books back then and this time has doubled down on that while replacing qualified people who might tell him “No” or be honest with sycophants who will gladly lie and attack innocent people even worse than Trumps first time in office.

Sorry man, you can find a million places that say the DoJ said something, but repeating a liars lie doesn’t make it true. Need to actually have a reliable source actually fact checking what the DoJ has said, not just telling us the DOJ said it.

Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
    "mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

    Here's my issue;

The IDF's done far worse than anything any Hamas terrorist has done. So why isn't support for Israel and the IDF treated as just as unacceptable a point of view?

That's the issue here; the deep and open hypocrisy and the partisan targeting to drive the regime's agenda. If you support the regime's monstrous allies, you're free and clear. That's bullshit, and demonstrates this has nothing to do with the character of those supported, but is entirely down to partisan ideological bias.

Especially when that regime constantly conflates opposing genocide as "endorsing terrorism", on the very same ideological bias.

So can we kick anyone out of the country for supporting Israel who has committed more acts of terrorism than Hezbollah and Hamas combined? How about Saudi Arabia?

The double standard is beyond ridiculous, if we're making a stand on this it should be against all acts of terrorism and we should also be holding US officials responsible for some past actions as they also qualify as terrorist attacks.

Instead, it's only terrorism if it's the enemy of the US. We completely ignore what the US and US allies have done.

Anyone alive during 9/11 saw the exact same xenophobic nonsense. If they were a Muslim, didn't matter if they were from SA, Israel, Egypt or anywhere else from the Middle East, they were targeted and some were forcefully deported.

Because that is what this is. A continuation of that same exact policy because Trump still believes there were thousands of people cheering in New Jersey when the attacks happened. Even Tucker Carlson tried to correct him on this and Trump doubled down on it.

I personally had to hear everything from "Every Muslim and Arab should be deported!!" to "We should just nuke the whole area and wipe them off the face of the earth!!!".

And this was in a predominately democrat area at the time.

Tom Homan about defying a judge's order:

"We’re not stopping. I don’t care what the judges say. I don’t care what the left thinks. We’re coming."

In Trump's America, the law doesn't matter. Those aren't "liberal tears." Those are the tears of a dying democracy.
I wonder if @Somewhatconcerned is somewhat concerned about Trump's team blatantly ignoring the constitution and claiming our democracy is dying as they defy federal courts.

There you have it. Deport all Shia Muslims, I guess.

Shortly after Trump gets around to seizing SpaceX via eminent domain, and once Trump identifies which new girlfriend he wants. Respectively or not, who cares at this point.

You expected something different on online gaming forums? It comes with the territory.

Feel free to talk about this week's CNN poll that has democrats approval at it's lowest of all time.

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/16/polit...ats/index.html

    Actual news, at least relevant.
29% Democratic Party approval among Americans, and 63% among their own party, is in line with expectations.

The change from 2022's 56% calling Democratic Party's views "mainstream" in a "too extreme/generally mainstream" question to 49% is unexpected. 7 point slide in close to 3 years. 94% of that time with Biden as the party leader in the White House.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time." "So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY. I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do.
Cheetoh Moussilini VonFuckface is screaming at the sky again. He was calling for the removal of a judge. John Roberts slapped his bitch-ass into place and told him that you cannot impeach a judge because you don't like his ruling.

Anyways. If you want to know why Republicans are going to lose the next 2 election cycles and, if Dems play their cards right, the next 5-6 election cycles, maybe more. Then look no further than this tweet.

Dude didn't get elected because of immigration. Dude got lucky to win an election because he managed to fuck the economy so hard at the end of his first term that he lost re-election and the Dems couldn't repair it quick enough in 4 years.

The grocery squeeze on main street won him re-election, not the scary migrants eating your dogs. Yet, Republicants still think that DEI and Migrants won them an election.
