Bending colleges to their will by essentially threatening to defund and deport their students is a way to reign in control IG

Thanks for admitting that Trump wants to raise a bunch of unthinking idiots.

SomewhatAmusing considering they've been "drawing the crowds" in red territory, and they have the opportunity to do so because Republican leaders are so upset by their own people asking them to stop licking Musk's boots that they're actively hiding from them. A sure sign of good, strong, long-lasting leadership for sure.
confirmed by my uncle nitnendo and masahiro samurai

Do you believe this to be a good thing?

Wonder what the odds of a bunch of Republicans running as Democrats next election and then flipping party as soon as the swear in or just pull a Joe Manchin their entire time in office only worse.
Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
    "mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

I dont give shit to Joe Manchin bc he never pretended to be anything else but himself. You know what you are getting with Manchin and if you want his vote you better work for it cuz no other democrat was viable on the state he was.

Fetterman annoys me tho. He deffo ran a progressive campaign and won his primaries based on that only to pull a 180 the moment he got into power.

I should hope so, for Camacho knew to look for people much smarter than him. He knew he couldn't fix the problems on his own.

JD Vance seems very upset that he's not a "real" American.

This turned out to be prophetic.

Three wildfires in western North Carolina are proving challenging for firefighters to beat because of rough terrain and debris left behind by Hurricane Helene.

The Black Cove, Deep Woods and Fish Hook fires continue burning in Polk County, an area devastated by Helene almost six months ago.

The Black Cove Fire, which began on Wednesday and was started by a downed power line, has burned 1,239 acres and had no containment as of Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, the Deep Woods Fire is the largest at 1,802 acres and also remains 0% contained.

Evacuation orders are in place for several areas surrounding the Black Cove and Deep Woods fires, officials said.

The Fish Hook Fire has burned 199 acres and is 50% contained. Officials said at least six structures have been lost in the fire.

Old but welcome news. There is no Vice Cult Leader, and Trump can't fire either of them. Well, he can't fire Vance, he won't fire Musk because Musk would destroy him. So there will be continued infighting and conflict indefinitely.

Although...Musk keeps claiming that he "found" or "discovered" or "completely made up" missing money or fraud or waste. As we've seen, most of those claims are wrong.

But Fortune magazine (linked) and the Financial Times found missing money that's real.

Tesla has $1.4 billion that seems to have gone astray, potentially raising questions about the company’s controls

Investors might have a reason to question where the money is going. If left unexplained, a $1.4 billion discrepancy between the firm’s capital expenditures and the valuation of the assets that cash was spent on, first reported by the Financial Times, could spark concerns about internal controls at Elon Musk’s electric vehicle giant.

Several accounting experts, however, say there are plausible justifications for the variance that might not show up on Tesla’s financial statements. You would expect the relevant numbers to add up for a domestic company with no big asset sales or impairments, said Tim Morrison, an accounting professor at Notre Dame and former audit partner at Ernst & Young. Tesla, of course, sells cars around the world and has factories on three continents. PwC has audited Tesla’s financial statements since 2005.

“If they had the numbers incorrect, then that would be a red flag related to controls,” said Morrison, who worked primarily with multinational manufacturing companies and led internal inspections to assess audit quality at EY.

This isn’t the first time Tesla’s accounting practices have been questioned, noted Garrett Nelson, a vice president and senior equity analyst at CFRA Research.

“We’ll have to see whether PwC or the company provide clarification,” he wrote in an email to Fortune.

Tesla and the Big Four firm did not respond to a request from Fortune for comment.

Tesla shares have lost roughly half their value since bla bla bla we know that part
"Wait, so the sources flat-out say there are potential valid reasons? Why not wait for those reasons to come up?"

Well for one, they asked, Tesla refused to answer. No longer their problem.

And for two...since when did Musk do the same for the federal government? Musk continued to make grand sweeping statements about magic money computers or fraudulent payments, only for those statements to be off by an order of magnitude.

And for three, Musk lost $1.4 billion of the $6.3 billion spent. That's over 20%. Musk has a 20% as-yet-unexplained accounting error. And he's the one put in charge of accounting errors of the entire country. By contrast, the amount of non-exaggerated non-lying money reclaimed (fraud, waste, or neither) is not even 1% of the federal budget.

Of course, there's other missing money, too. Trump cost the stock market $5 trillion in three weeks.

Nobody is surprised by this. Trump supporters are just not bringing it up.

FOX News reports *ding* that Trump plans to host the Chiefs for their Super Bowl victory!

    "But the Eagles-"

This would be Super Bowl LIV, held in 2020. Their WH celebration was canceled.

"...by Trump, who at the time, was still claiming COVID wasn't a problem."

Look, everyone knows the real answer is "the Eagles told him to fuck off" so don't look for a rational answer. Trump will not give you one.

In before the Chiefs also tell him to fuck off.

Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are 100% not going to tell him to fuck off even if they are the only 2 that show up. They are more likely to suck his dick, than to tell their king to fuck off.

Nah, he pulled a 180 when his brain stroked out and he became clinically a retard. Fits right in with Conservatives after his re-re-stroke-face incident since it killed off his brain cells and his empathy center. He should travel to Arizona so that last cunt we ejected from the Senate for pulling party-flipping bullshit can teach him to sit on a cactus the long way.

The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.
