More like term limits or a lost election means there are few repercussions for their actions.

It doesn't apply to a President who's belong to a party that controls pretty much the entire federal government. Trump is the exact opposite of a "lame duck" president.
Presidents in their first term must reckon that unpopular actions or the surrounding economic/political climate might cost them re-election. With no re-election to worry about, the question is what somebody means by "would be hounded and punished." Which is the post I responded to.

Not a spending bill, dems can just filibuster it.

Shit like this is just theatre that you don't actually have to worry about.

And if you're worried about them getting rid of the filibuster, well you also don't have to worry about that for as long as McConnell is around. Dude is an absolute villain but not a fascist and refused this shit in Trump's first term.

If there is a Schumer, there is a way…..

You see, when you are in the gym together and sweating it out, the Republicans really open up to him. And if they keep letting them get what they want, eventually the voters will see and come back to the democrats without them having to do anything at all…..

Schumer can't hide behind not wanting a government shutdown, he would literally be killing his career if he crossed the aisle for this one, lmao. Not to mention it would directly contradict his reason for that previous vote to begin with(Trump having too much power if the government shut down) which would be played on every TV station when his opponent eventually primaries him.

Just wait until Schumers donors go "no no, we like it. Let it happen" and see him fold.

^ This is from a self-proclaimed Trump-hater who goes round vote-policing, berating and insulting other users for expressing their doubts and reservations about Joe Biden. He also urges others to end relationships and friendships just to "vote Trump out". https://ibb.co/2jRnZGC He can't seem to walk the talk himself.

China has historic agreements with Japan and South Korea previously unthinkable. The world needs more time no one trust the words of a mad man, China is the more reliable partner.

wtf is that bullshit clickbait video? I'm not even going to click it because I can already see the title is hilariously wrong.
Ties between China and the rest of the world are only going to be strengthened in the coming 4 years because you can trust them not to randomly shit the bed on a day to day basis.
And the EU was right there with retaliatory tariffs as well
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Right wing media is spouting that this entire saga was a brilliant 5D chess move that put America back on top. I guess right wingers are dumb enough to swallow this drivel.

Kash Patel Out As Director Of ATF, Didn't Bother Showing Up

FBI Director Kash Patel has been quietly removed as the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives after he stopped showing up to facilities there, according to a report.

Patel, who remains in his FBI role, had not been “seen inside an ATF facility for weeks.”
    What a sht-show

Dictionary definition of false equivalence: second term presidents and dictators don't have to worry about re-election.

    Correct.

Dictators power grab, make unilateral changes, ignore oversight, threaten other countries, threaten to invade other countries, have their critics silenced, investigated, or arrested.

All of which Trump is doing.

All of which Trump said he would do, when you voted for him on purpose.

And you didn't call any of these out as a negative when it mattered.

You voted for a second-termer, but you also voted for a dictator, and you approve of his actions.

Agreed, they dont think theyre being scammed, they think Trump is saving them from a Biden recession. They dont think this is a money/power grab, they think this is putting the rest of the world in its place. They dont think Trump is weak, they think crashing the economy is about owning the libs.

To call them cultists at this point is generous, they're collectively completely off their rockers.

It’s not because it’s fun. God knows it’s not because it’s easy. It’s not even because it works because it hardly ever does.. I DO WHAT I DO BECAUSE IT’S RIGHT! Because it’s decent! And above all, it’s kind! It’s just that.. Just kind."
