No you aren't stop lying

No they won't the entire point was to start out absurdly high then drop to the point they actually wanted as essentially a national sales tax. The point is to attempt to replace income tax with sales tax because it's just too many hoops to jump through to take out loans and dodge taxes that way for the billionaire class.

The Dow is down 5% since the dipshit took office. Congratulations on showing that we lost a year of growth to the fascist idiot.
The funniest thing about the "I'm pro legal immigration types" is that you know, if you suggest a reduction of requirements for immigration or, heaven forbid, a blanket amnesty with a path to legal residency for undocumented workers, they would absolutely freak and refuse to support those policies.
Even though they'd make that immigration fully legal.
It's almost like the legality was never the actual issue for them. It's a very thing and ineffective mask they use to pretend their open bigotry is still hidden.
The Supreme Court already weighed in on the Alien Enemies Act, telling the government that detainees are entitled to notice and the opportunity to be heard. "The notice must be afforded within a reasonable time and in such a manner as will allow them to actually seek habeas relief in the proper venue before such removal occurs." That certainly wasn't the courts " being removed from the equation more and more."
The courts have merely judgment. That goes back to the constitution and the framers. It was by design that the courts must "ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its judgments." (Federalist Paper #78).It’s up to the courts to enforce the law. Not trump.
You're quoting a source that is a dispatch towards Americans and their travel plans. It's not some congressional or think-tank breakdown of the middle east. It's foolish to suppose that it would constitute such a free-ranging breakdown of the dangers in the middle east. It's not that kind of source document, and it's intended audience isn't the people you're describing.Only Americans would be targeted?
The article doesn’t say that. It doesn’t even say only US citizens would be targeted.
If does matter if you intend to generalize something written for US citizens and LPR's to other categories not in its scope.Meant to type state department instead of DHS.
doesn’t matter.
It says that multiple terrorist groups are active in Afghanistan. The same is true for dozens of countries abroad. If you want particular dangers to the citizens of that country, I'm afraid that the US State department has a particular focus on the citizens of the United States. I'd be interested to read something particular to the Afghani experience, if you run across an article on that.It says Afghanistan, the entire country, is subject to terrorist violence. Not, mind you, “only Americans.”
I'm sure you can find some randos in the wild that delight in the "fuck yous" and "fellow white supremacists," but I'm afraid that isn't me. Profanity and personal attacks make me think this is a performance, and your audience is not me.
I do want legal immigration, set by laws in Congress. Enforced by the Executive branch. I want the lawlessness of the Biden era to be corrected, but four years of that impressive dereliction of duty will take a great deal of time to correct, and Trump does not have the temperament nor intelligence to put it right. Neither do a majority of his advisors. Let me know if you are willing to move past the profanity and personal attacks to dialogue on it. I'm around and I read. I'm not just going return back or ignore the "fuck yous" and "fellow [insert memish anti-left derogatory adjective here]."
"I wish it need not have happened in my time." "So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
It was a surprise that even some MAGA were complaining about it: 'Terror state': MAGA loyalists fume over Trump's $400 million Qatar Air Force One gift
“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart
Peace is a lie. There is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power.
Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.

Ya'll need to quit engaging with certain bad-faith posters. Pretty certain their payouts are conditioned based on the engagement they generate / replies to them.
The distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss. Of all the things at risk, the loss of an objective reality is perhaps the most dangerous. The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. When truth leaves us, when we let it slip away, when it is ripped form our hands, we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster screams the loudest.

I've seen who you voted for, "lawlessness" is not your issue. If it was, when Trump's orders got overturned multiple times in the last three months so far, you would have said something. I don't believe you have. Also you voted for a felon and you did so on purpose. They hypocrisy of you saying you want to end "lawlessness" contradicts your other posted words and is therefore assumed disingenuous and handwaved.
Also, did you call someone out for citing a source? Shame. Shame.
you know
the lawlessness
all those times that they outright just ignored scotus orders to facilitate the return of a wrongfully deported man for weeks on end
i'm sure we're about to hear about how biden abided by each time the scotus said he couldn't forgive student loan debt in one way so he went about it in another way until that was stopped too and he always followed those rulings
as if they're remotely the same in any way, shape, or form
but nah, i think he's just making sure to defend the guy who is bringing in wealthier white "refugees" from south africa over actual victims of war and torture and suffering around the world and also the guy accepting a $400M personal gift from a state sponsor of terror who have funded hamas to the tune of hundreds of millions, i believe
apparently hamas and republicans have a bit more in common than previously thought: they love accepting gifts from qatar

a few are racist enough that accepting anything from brown radical islamists (i.e. any muslim) is bad and awful
there's a slim chance one or two may actually care about the emoluments clause and ethics and principles, but i don't put much stock in that given the past decade of republican/maga rhetoric and behavior
Somewhatconcetned trying to get get trump credit for all the growth that happened in 2024 prior to the election might be one of his funniest takes
