You forgot The Running Man, since there was talk a few months ago they basically want to do just that.

Ironic that a remake of that is coming out this year.

Edited to add: Well, looks like wealth pays off again, I'm sure with absolutely no influence from Trump's statement that he might pardon him, P Diddy found not guilty on everything but prostitution.

    They do.
They just don't see the immigrants as humans.

It's one thing to be evil; but the shameless, corporate tackiness of the whole thing somehow makes it feel more gross. It's like selling front row tickets to Death Row executions or government sponsored betting pools for 'How long until our Assassin Drones find this terrorist cell's hideout?'.

this continues to be why i say the party itself, writ large, is irredeemable and why i continue to have so few concerns with making the fairly direct nazi comparisons.

    TRUMP TAKE BEEF

Dunno how this is not a bigger scandal. When milk prices spiked under Biden; CNN went big on coverinng that one weird family that bought 20 gallons of milk a-week, "Family crushed by $531 more in grocery costs, why did BIDEN DO THIS!".

Ground Beef Prices Surge To Record High Before Fourth Of July
If you plan on enjoying a burger on the Fourth of July, it may be more expensive than ever.

Sorry kids, it'll be just lentil tacos this 4th. And you have to eat them with your hands.

I'm guessing that this is based on the testimony of the roommate? In that case, let me just quote the man himself. He claims he was instructed by Governor Tim Walz to kill Amy Klobuchar so Walz could run for Senate, and had been trained by the US military in a covert fashion. I'm about as ready to believe that Walz actually ordered him to do that as I am to believe he supported Trump while receiving all this secret Democratic governor orders. You'll have to expand your mind on loons and their associations. I already stated in this thread on my views against political violence, including in the specific case you cite, and I suppose I'll have to state it a dozen more times.
It's been more than 4 years, where is your regret for supporting an attempted coup?

Oh, it's right there with him. Only in the way that it was indeed, attempted coup.

Though I guess the downside is the fact they are still planning to put people in that shit hole.
I'd say I can't wait for a hurricane to hit and obliterate the concentration camp, but the dang virtue signaller will say I'm wishing for people to die. Can't make a joke anymore smh.

I don't see the contradiction. If one industrial complex is glad to have free slaves and the other industrial complex is happy to get more money for housing them, that's just double dipping for the GOP grifters.

Trump official demands Congress probe Fed's Powell over dining room
    https://www.axios.com/2025/07/02/tru..._medium=social

Ha! They very much want Powell gone.

In the most Trumpian way possible of someone not bending you enact the most political hit job imaginable.

I guess they inquiring about renovations at Fed HQ. Now do they have case cause who was EPA dude in 2016 actually get fired for this?

Sorry on my phone but I clearly remember one of many scandals with renovations. Can't remember if fired.

Trump can't even wait a year for Powell to end. Idk if it's Trump stupidity of low interest equals a juiced economy or the trouble signs are worrying and he wants to juice it.

Yeah sort of....Now I have ability to find and link.

    Scott Pruitt Out At EPA

Several patterns were quickly established, including unusually high spending on his office and travel and continually mixing his personal and professional lives.

The EPA spent about $43,000 on a soundproof phone booth for the administrator's office, and The Washington Post reported that Pruitt spent thousands of dollars on first-class plane tickets. The New York Times reported that Pruitt's chief of security proposed that Pruitt spend $70,000 on two desks, one of them bulletproof. The desks were not purchased
So Pruitt was the person I remember, I knew he was from Oklahoma. But of course so much corruption that Ben Carson was involved. I guess Carson is more like Powell possibly? Pruitt couldn't even duck the allegations and had to resign.

Camo in an urban environment is more cosplay than actual camo.

    yep

they had a few inches of rain and the insides of the tents were getting soaked and you could hear the rain battering down hard

and they say it's ready to survive hurricanes : )

it's almost like they want a hurricane to destroy it and to leave the people in the concentration camp at the mercy of the alligators that they love to talk about so much

which is a pretty like, james bond villain thing to do which is actually incredibly on-brand for the current republican party when you think about it
